Sending them out assembled will be fine. I'm sure everyone understands. The whole point of the iAtty is that it is user serviceable so we will have to do it ourselves anyway. -

Trustfire Multi charger question
I have the same charger and it does that sometimes. You have to give them a little nudge to get them lined up properly. Also maybe the batteries had enough charge in them already?- lee72

You need a 12mm hex bit to unscrew it or grip it with pliers. If you add a washer the pin will recede further, that's why I was suggesting making your own so it would sit up further in the connector. -

Maybe you could try finding a bolt with the same threads and modding it to fit your needs. Here's a pic of the pin taken out. -
