Do you change the wick every time you change flavors or do you use multiple flavors on the same wick?
The reason I ask is that if you use only one juice per wick it is possible that the heat from the coils inside your tank might be warming the juice up and maturing it a bit. Then it becomes a...
They clamp down very well for me. Honestly Ive had more problems with posts cutting the wire on me than I have with them not holding the coils tightly. Neither have been an issue with my Kennedy Trickster.
I got mine from FT. There are numerous different versions of it on the site. I got the 2 post with an interchangeable chamber, one is standard metal with BFAF the other is a glass chamber which cuts off the BFAF and makes it side AF.
I would advise rewrapping it anyway. Wraps are so cheap and easy to apply that there is no reason to continue using a battery with any amount of damage to the wrap.
So before I even opened this thread that was what I intended to post :p
There is also this as an indicator...

Heat can be a scary thing coming from a battery, especially if you don't know what a "normal" amount of heat might feel like. Its better to be safe than sorry and if in doubt it's best to ask the question.
There are plenty of knowledgeable people around here and @IMFire3605 and @puffon gave...
The mxjo cell should be fine at 50W for now. Again, if you want to go above 60W you need a quality, authentic 25 or 30 amp cell. Depending on where you live they may be hard to come by in a B&M vape shop. Be wary of fakes and rewraps(sometimes difficult to tell). On the chart I posted there is a...
Personally I wouldn't use mxjo. The preferred batteries are made by Sony, Samsung and LG. The battery you have is likely a 20A cell since it claims a 3000mAh rating.
Check out mooch battery chart
If you want to vape above 60 watts pick a good 25A or 30A battery on moochs chart. Personally i...
The only thing I could think of that might help would be picking up a heat sink...something like this:
$1.77 Iwodevape 510 Heat Dissipation Heat Sink for Atomizers - authentic / stainless steel / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
It might provide a tighter connection to the...
Thought he was using a 30A cell. No matter, turns out he's not discharging lower than 3.5V so he's pulling 25A with 90% efficiency. I don't advise it because I like some headroom but if someone has done their own research and concluded that they are fine with pulling max amps from their cell...
I love BFAF!!!! Both my Kennedy and my Avocado have it and I've had very few problems with leaking(none on the avocado whatsoever and only slight issues every now and then on the Kennedy). I find them way better for flavor.
With a 3.2V cutoff he'd only be pulling about 27A with a 90% efficiency factor. Not out of the capabilities of a 30A cell. Mooch factors in temp when determining the CDR of a cell.
Why throw good money after bad? Especially if the mod does have an internal short. If the mod isnt necessary and he can get by without it then there is no need to experiment with it in any dangerous way.
