Tina, you are absolutely right. If you are restricting the airflow into the bottom of the cartomizer then it is certainly going to greatly increase the amount of vacuum placed on the tank with each draw which in turn will mean more liquid going in with each draw. If you are using flanged... -

It may be just the life for that liquid/cartomizer combination. The IBTpro 22 will pull the cartomizer down some but I dont think that is the problem. You could try using it without the ring to see if it solves it. If all else has failed I would certainly say change out that top inside oring... -

Not sure if you will have that trouble with the XL or not. One other thing is do you put the tank in the thingy upside down? I always prime this way so the threaded part is in the cap, if it leaks a little it is easier to clean out the cap then the bottom of the thingy. I mention this because... -

Oh, one other thing... what are you running the 2.0ohm at? Sometimes I find turning things down helps, this is counter intuitive as high power would mean more liquid vaporized and sometimes that helps settle things out but it seems to me more often than not lower is better for me. -

With a clear eLiquid I usually get 20 to 30mls which would be more like 10 or more refills on that size tank at the low end. Darker liquids will tend to clog things up quicker. The gurgling or running wet kind of comes along as a cartomizer ages sometimes but you can limit it to some extent by... -

The rings Lady mentioned the colors about is the beauty ring that you can put on the Provari to make a flush fit with a 22mm tank. Currently we only have these in Stainless. We are working with our shop on getting them in Anodized colors to match our caps though. Have had a couple hiccups...
