New to Reo's... I have some Questions about it
Push down the firing button and apply some to the end where it touches the battery. You can also put a little on the top of the battery. It just takes a tiny bit! Using such low ohms you should clean off and re-apply every week. Sooner if you notice sparking or dropped performance. -

Congratz on becoming a Reonaut! Here is a video on how to clean your new REO. But DO NOT use a file on the contacts. With a very low build you should get some Deoxit to use on your contacts. Your contacts are probably the new gold ones. -

You are right that a total collapsed will not hold the battery up. But the fact that it was glowing means you caught it just before it collapsed. That metal might not react if it is hit with high voltage again and it could be disaster for your battery and your REO. -

It is just as bad.. This is on the side more and aggravated more by my movements. No doctor visit or xray this time. I don't need them to tell me what I did! If it is just a fracture there are no sharp parts to poke. A clean break would be more dangerous. LOL! -

I had an older Woodvil drop a spring. The RM2 was metering fine. NO loose screws or posts. Didn't know what caused it to happen. Sent it to Robert. He really is the best one to find and fix a problem. Your spring is now compromised. You need a new one. -
