Lydia & shilo: Does help on both counts...TY.
Good point on the flavorings (domestic vs chinese) as it is a custom for them but still china made liquid. If I can get a close base or the right tobacco to work from I may be ok...its just when we get in to Wizard and some of the other non...
Thanks AzP...all input and personal experience is appreciated as it seems like DIY will be quite the learning journey. Hopefully some folks that have tried the BMF ry4 and can equate it to specific ingredients will weigh in too!
Hi all...
I am looking to start DIY'ing for the main reason of trying to replicate and tweak my only all time favorite vape...Bloogs ry4...in hopes to be able to to tweak a little more flavor/richness, or if nothing else to be able to insure consistency (not a BMF slam, just that mass production...
Retriever: If you like the SI, try Bloogs RY4 if you haven't already. Supposedly the same, I know, but there is definitely something different if you ask me...the BMF has a fuller flavor (and is cheaper...bonus!). Cheers...
most dont actually...if you want a breakdown and really well detailed flavor description on many RY's, read the Roundup referenced earlier. Truth of the matter is most ry4's differ from one another greatly...one is my all time favorite vape but most others I have tried were either just ok or I...
not 100% sure, but I think I read the batts that ship with the new Ego-c kits are the higher voltage now (4.2~3.7) and have a display of some sort for remaining charge
Glad to help...hope you like it. As I said b4, great folks to deal with too!
On an aside, not sure how long you have been vaping, but for me in the beginning everything tasted sweeter than it did after my taste buds got unpolluted and recovered. Got better in stages (was weird, every few...
many great cartos available now that equal or surpass the flavor and vapor of dripping, cartos are a million times easier, and you dont get the nasty burnt taste dry hits like you just cant avoid with dripping. With practice and paying attention (not to over drip and to know when you are running...
The Revo is a decent device...give it a go...for the money you spent its a great value. Check out some of the vids on 'squeezing' tho...really helped. I will also suggest if you use cartos on it to use horizontals...they work SO much better as its a bottom feeder (boges kept burning)
when I went VV it took some time and refinement of drag and voltage for each juice to get it down. I had some of the scratchy issue at first too but time and practice took care of it. I also had that issue as a general rule with Boge cartos,,,I much much much prefer the horizontal coils myself...
If you want a natural, real, and pretty unique tobacco liquid try the Moondrop 'Straight Up'...its not like anything else I have tried (which is not a short list!) It is actually a bit too real for my liking...I have come to like a tobacco with a slight caramel blend...emphasis on slight...and...
I agree...you did fine. Bottom line and most important is to just be honest. Share successes and fails, likes and dislikes and it will help anyone that may be interested.
Congrats on the quit to you both and keep on sharing and educating!
exkool: I gotta think you either A: got a funky batch, or B: maybe they were shipped/stored somewhere along with something and picked up a funky taste. I do know that can happen...the filler is designed to be super absorbent. I had some that were shipped in a box with an eliquid that I ended...
