    3.7V Battery Questions - CONFUSED!!!

    I don't have a Saber Touch so unfortunately I don't know. The UltraFire 2400 mAh has a nipple top while the AW protected 3100 mAh has three raised bumps instead. That might be an issue.

    Good info here already, but just wanted to add that not all 18650 batteries are actually the same length. There may be a mm or two difference in length between the 2400 mAh and 3100 mAh batts. Not always a big deal, but in some mods it might be.

    I said the same thing... Gotta have backups for the backups though. ;) I have another VV mod that uses 26500 batts coming soon and a Zenesis in March. Maybe I'll slow down after that... Maybe...

    Fair enough... It's just that you said: The red AW's are IMR. The protected AW's are black and silver, AFAIK. Just didn't want anyone getting confused is all (including myself :D).

    The switch is fine. I have the older version of the RoughStack that used a spring instead of a soldered wire to the positive terminal of the atty connection. The straw melted and created a short. I plan on replacing the spring with wire. Just haven't gotten around to it yet... I've had it...

    Just for clarification, JP, AW IMR (and all IMR batteries for that matter) are unprotected. LiMN is a "safer chemistry" battery.

    Stalking the mailman - fail

    I've had something similar happen. The packages magically appeared later that day. Seems rather inefficient to deliver twice, no? Still... Happy I got my packages.
