Pyrex can take quite a bit if heat. Strain temp is about 960, so if it stays below that you should be good. Annealing will help also. Remember, Pyrex can go in a 450 degree oven no problem.- AmberB

If you pull the metal ring the tip goes into off you can stick your 510 trippy straight in. Just don't turn it upside down. ;)- AmberB
