I haven't used the old coils but I don't think the difference is to do with performance as much as leak prevention. The new coil has a tip that screws into the centre post of the tank whereas the old coil looks like it just aligns itself with it.
Where did you order from? You could always...
Not exactly traditional but just saw it and thought it may be of interest:

5mm diameter but what you can also do is save o rings from used-up atomisers before you dispose of them.
The annoying o ring problem on that one atomiser kept happening so I took the risk of removing it entirely a couple of days ago. So far the Micro hasn't leaked, even when being jostled from...
Haha by the time I'm done with cigalikes I won't have the energy for Pod Mods ... coffee pods maybe.
So it's good that someone's beaten me to the pod list:

The XOLO looks nice.
The eRoll was so popular and influential that it immediately spawned a few clones. Let’s take a look at one of them
Kamry K500 c.2013 (?)
Same as the eRoll except for the KR808 connection
Here’s a demo from Kamry
Wow, such an interesting way to vape.. and this eRoll clone has...
M401/2/3 models are still available to buy in bulk from overseas. And if you head over to Ovale Europe's site they are selling an eRoll double kit with PCC for just £21.99 - but it's called the eMini Double Kit. Some say Ovale invented the eMini which Joyetech then copied as the eRoll...but...
Today's tip: Retrieving a slipped o-ring
Not all of my Micros do this but one or two of them do. That is, the o-ring on the part of the atomiser that connects to the tank can slip off the atomiser and get caught around the centre post.
In the photo below you see the new and old Micro. If you...
Great, hope they come soon! The coils may arrive first as they are sent directly from China to UK but the PCC, because it has a lithium battery, may be routed through the Netherlands and arrive a bit later (if my order is anything to go by).
I've only ever used free shipping, delivered to where I work. I completely understand any reservations people might have with that but so far it's worked ok for me. I'd probably think twice about ordering any single item over a certain amount though, say £50 or more.
Great to see a review of the PCC! Hopefully more sellers will pick up the Micro/Cassiel so that it gets more recognition and support.
Sucks that SafeCigs are out of stock. If I were in your shoes I would take a chance with another seller and message them first about delivery concerns. Don't...
Let’s start with a classic: Ovale eMini AKA JoyeTech eRoll (and the perhaps not-so-classic eRoll-C).
Launched in 2013, many ex-users have lamented the passing of the eRoll – but it's still alive and well in other parts of the world either in original or clone form. It just happens that fewer...
I wanted to replace my old eRoll-C with a new cigalike and PCC and decided upon the Kamry Micro/Cassiel which so far has turned out to be a good choice. You can read about it here if you like:
Kamry Micro - a good successor to the eRoll?
Before I found the Micro, however, I considered quite a...
I've only had my batteries a few weeks so afraid I can't advise on that but they are holding up well so far. I found three USB starter kits in rotation worked best for me until I received the Cassiel PCC, and now I just use the two micros that came with it. I also don't have the old atomiser...
These iJust 2 batteries are automatic and adjust to whatever coil you are using, so could it be that the 2600 mAh isn't reading the coil properly and thinks it's higher than 1.5 ohms? If so TECC should give you a replacement.
Hi v3a0m6o, you're welcome. I reached a point where the continual quest for the vaping holy grail, and trying to keep up with the newest developments became more of a chore than a fun pastime. Plus I have a habit of vaping while I work so needed something that suits in terms of stealth...
Eleaf make the iKiss and Kissbox too. At 12cm it's a bit too long for me though. Comes in auto and manual versions and uses the same atomiser as the eRoll follow up, Ovale eMini Duo. Mostly good reviews from what I've seen around the web.
I'm too hard on the eRoll. Just got mine out to see how it vaped and it's not as bad as I remember. The 90 mAh battery does get weak very quickly after 5 mins of vaping though and then I have to work at it to get anything or recharge for another 30 mins.
