See, eRolls are alive and well in ....where are you? I never really got on with mine, tight draw, horrible air channels, muted flavour, needed a recharge after 5 mins... though without the eRoll's success others might not have been inspired to produce better carto-free cigalikes
Ah, I've much nostalgia for the eGo tank system. I adopted one after a week of using a cigalike that didn't work and regarded it as my little black torpedo. I also went on to more advanced gear but seem to have come full circle now. First time I've seen that JoyeTech PCC too, rather nifty for...
The eRoll is alive and well in East Asia. Plus eRoll still had a LED at its tip, albeit a stylish blue one. Off the charger, cigalikes don't last long enough as it is, let alone having a light at the end using up power. And something.. something .. lack of stealth ...makes me a target at night...
They are easy to confuse except cigma vape/kimree vapor queen is longer. But when I saw this photo I thought it was a joecig.
I don't know why designers think the fake ash tip look is a good thing. I can barely put up with LED lights.
Glad Angela has found her vaping solution! When I was discussing the eGo One a couple of years back the iJust2 came up and we thought it would make a good alternative to Joyetech.
Joyetech Ego ONE
Hope she enjoys the battery life. Before Kamry Micro I was really tempted by a cigalike PCC kit...
I actually considered both these models in my quest for a new cigalike. There are some very cool touches with the Magnum Snaps - magnetic connection, small eRoll size, and LED torch on the PCC, but I wanted to avoid filler-wrapped cartomisers and also needed a PCC with more than 540 mAh that...
Thanks, the only reason I can think of is that VG is heavier and this plus the fact it gets runnier when heated in a tank means a tiny bit can sometimes get through the atty on to the battery. I'm not entirely sure though and fortunately it hasn't happened since the last time. Maybe I was just...
At last ... I have the power!
Kamry Cassiel PCC 1200 mAh
There's a lot to like here but also (perhaps) one significant disadvantage which I'll go into later. At least it's much better than carrying around a power bank. Stay tuned for an upcoming review.
You make your own custard? Have you tried taking it down to 60VG/40PG? Perhaps it won't mitigate the sweetener gunking up the coil but it could help the wicking a bit. I put Dinner Lady Strawberry Custard though one of my micros which is 70VG and it worked, but that was just 1ml tank's worth...
Just by carrying out a search for cigalikes and reviews. Cigalike freak is also an ECF member and has posted here if I'm not mistaken. But his or her site hasn't been updated for a while which is a shame.
While my search helped me to find Kamry Micro it also threw up quite a few other...
You can definitely buy the atomisers on Aliexpress which is where I ordered mine along with the micros themselves. Both the attys and micros took just 8 days to reach me from a seller called Ree Store. Was pleasantly surprised by that.
It's happened on two different micros earlier today when I was testing them with 70VG. Maybe something to do with chain vaping them. Since then I've been vaping more moderately and it hasn't happened again. I'm actually more intrigued than concerned as I can't work out why high vg would do that...
Hmm. It seems vaping 70VG on the micro can leave a drop of eliquid on the battery connection when I remove the tank to recharge. Why is that? Doesn't happen with higher PG. Luckily the drop of liquid just sits there rather than going into the battery hole and can be wiped off. If it gets into...
Today I received some Hangsen 70VG 30PG juices at 18mg strength, specifically for use in the micros. Tried one flavour (RY4) so far. It seems to wick and vape just fine with 70VG without the need to pull harder on the ecig (thank you airholes). None of the flavours I received are overly sweet...
I'm using a Kamry Micro - a 2016 cigalike tank system that is a vast improvement over the cotton wrapped cartomiser models, and performs much better than the old eRoll.
Kamry Micro - a good successor to the eRoll?
A silent cigalike that works and provides a good hit is Kamry Micro which I just happen to be using right now as a stealth back up to larger devices, but it works well enough that I am using it almost exclusively. Allow me to spam my review thread: Kamry Micro - a good successor to the eRoll?
Thinking about the coils in my Kamry Micro set up, I wondered if it's possible to prolong their usage through cleaning - especially since new coils have to be shipped all the way from China. Turns out it's possible in a similar way to how the original eGo Tank coils and eRoll coils were cleaned...
I have bought juice from Avant Garde E-Liquid before but never used their Bespoke E-Liquid service:
Bespoke E Liquid
You can choose up to 2 flavours (including tobacco, coffee etc.) in 100% VG going up to 20mg strength.
£18.99 for a bespoke 30ml bottle. £29.99 for £50ml and £54.99 for 100ml.
