    Kayfun LITE

That's the issue I've been struggling with since buying. First don't pinch the coil when red hot to make a micro coil leave some gaps. Next build with the bottom half of the chimney on, use some tweezers to spread out the cotton to clear the fluid channels. Another thing that seems to be...

New coils often breaking/crumbling on first fire

with Kathal sometimes its a good idea to anneal by torching before even wrapping.

    The I can't build a KFL Club

I bought the $15 special KFL at Fastech. It uses setscrews to hold the coil which eliminates one of the hardest parts for me with the Kayfun ( and yes I've tried the cheese head screws.) Problem is I can't figure out how to fill the dam thing. There is no fill hole on the botton...

I can't figure out how to fill it up, there seems to be no fill hole.

    Kayfun LITE

Thanks that works. This really isn't all that bad. I like that it uses set screws to hold the coil. It fills from the side wish I knew which version of KFL it is? https://www.fasttech.com/p/1662502

I have a couple questions. I baught the fast tech $15/99 special KLF. Not sure which version it is but the fill hole is on the side with a hole cur at a steep slant. One feature I really like is the + and - terminals have holes underneath so you don't have to wrap the coil end under the...

    Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

My favorite of self extracted NETs right now is Captain Black Dark, it really is a nice black Cavendish, I can't imagine a better on so now I am looking for a Perique + Cav to try. I looked up Sutcliff PS Golden Age on pipes and cigars and it said it was a prerique + Virginia no mention of cav?

    Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

I was tempted to try 1 micron as 3 micron is harder to find than 5 & 1 micron. I have to think it will require a lot of pressure maybe pore than French press can provide but a steel turkey baster syring might pull it ofd. I have a thin silkscreen type 1 micron that I intend to try my next...

    Fruit Vapes

Besides nets I only vape fruit, I use 50/50 PG/VG. If there is too much VG the wicking is slow and leads to dry hits.

    Most overrated E-Juice?

I really like the set screw coil anchoring, to me getting the wire to stay screwed down is the toughest part of the KFL build. This looks like a much better design than the KFL all around.

What tank do you run your gunky stuff on.

the aerotank does surpringly well with nets. I can sometimes get 30 hours with a coil. And the coils are cheap (less than $1 ea at fast tech.) At home I use the KFL tank and brass monkey dripper

Filtering like the pros, a Chemical Engineers perspective

If I knew the FDA wasn't going to outlaw our liquid nicotine believe me I would build one killer setup for nets. But for now a big SS turkey baster gets the job done.

Would you still vape if all you could buy was unflavored e-liquid?

I'll be honest when I first started vaping in April I was turned off to the candy flavored names. I was drawn straight to nets, tobacco is what I wanted. In fact the only non NET I own is WTA infused lemonade and that's just a little treat for hot days 'cause I can't afford to vape it on a...

    The I can't build a KFL Club

That sums up well the spirit of this thread I hope. I am positive there are others out there who don't have an immediate knack for building these thing and hope to benfit them as well as those on the fence on buying their first RBA. That's why I posted it in the general section, but...

    The I can't build a KFL Club

I've built all three tanks successfully (2 Ehpro & 1 Tribecca) successfully all filled with DIY Nets since I started this thread. I' using the better cotton bads similar to the first video posted but using tweezers to keep the airhole open and then laying a light circle of cotton around the...

Filtering like the pros, a Chemical Engineers perspective

I do a heat assisted PG extract and filter with a large turkey syringe stuffed with rayon and 5 micron felt. As far as tobacco I am hooked on dark Cavendish;s, nothing tastes better in vape form that is obtainable IMHO. Works good. The pump idea is more for high volume , there will be some...

    Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

No real recommendation for a home Net maker to produce a full flavored perique, maybe you should stick to popcorn pictures. As far as $25k, that is a small investment if you are upstarting a large volume net business. Have you ever seen an estimate from a stainless steel pipe fitter?
