    The end of microcoils?

The same person that sparked the creation of this thread, Dr F, has talked extensively about the ineffectiveness of various nicotine products in quitting smoking. In fact, the apparent success rate of new generation e-cigarettes is what got him to go into research of e-cigs to begin with.

    Titanium wires

I do find your comment quite disrespectful; why does it matter if he worked with insurance at some point in time? In that respect, what does this say about the e-cig landscape? Some guy who "sold insurance" has been one of the most influential and innovative manufacturers of mech mods and atomisers.

TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

I've never used Ni200. I think the Resistherm handles well compared to Kanthal; a bit springy but doesn't break easily. But then again all these features also depend on the thickness of the wire and as you know this comes only in 1 size.

    Titanium wires

It was more of a rhetorical statement; if there was any sort of proof we would have heard to it by now. I've read thread now and I think it looked like a flame war to begin with; a bunch of people sticking to their own opinions with noone willing to meet the other half way. However, it did get...

    Proteus official

I'd never call a troll because he advertised another product, everyone's free to talk about what they use in here The problem was that he presented arguments and when he couldn't answer because he didn't like the rebuttal, he went back to repeating his original point.

    Titanium wires

I'm going to read the 37 pages because I'm pretty sure that some interesting info will come up. But until then could you please tell me; do any of these experts have any data on the safety inhalation of vaporised glycerol (+some flavour) from a coil that has been dry burned? If they do, I'd love...

TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

I'm not currently in the UK but I travel there very often, I was there last week. I've bought many times from the previously. The resistherm wire is ok but it only comes in one gauge which is too thin for my liking. In terms of flavour I can't say since I don't have any Ti yet to compare and I...

TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

That's the impression I got as well, which is why I don't plan on using this device as my permanent device. As for the TCR, 320 is for the wire they provided/suggest, which is correct. 350 is the correct value for Titanium grade 1, which is what I will be using henceforth when it arrives on...

TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

I'm quite happy with my Dani V2 as well although I feel the temperature is not 100% accurate all the time. I got a laser thermometer to try and check it out. Quite happy with it although it's quite heavy; they could have made the tube walls thinner by machining out some SS from the inside but...

We're obviously not arguing, I'm just discussing this because I care. We all respect each other and their opinions.

First of all you missed the part in my post where I said that he talked to a material scientist (you know the people who are probably most knowledgeable when it comes to something like this); john67 even posted a link to with further info regarding this. And in any case, he probably is more...

    Titanium wires

So you're saying that you're going to ignore the advice of people more knowledgeable than you on the matter until you've seen actual evidence., even though you could be harm in yourself; I'm guessing you're a very religious person. Let's hope for your sake that it's harmless.

    Titanium wires

Funny coincidence because Stelios posted a quote in the Greek thread, from Dr. F in some other Greek forum, directly related to this. In summary he says that dry burning might not be deadly but the potential damage from it is certainly avoidable. He refers to discussions he's had with a material...

    Titanium wires

Yeah the shop I went to did exactly the same thing. And there I was watching the guy rebuild a coil for this woman's IPV4 and I was thinking "Damn, these people have no clue that what they're doing is probably dangerous and they're passing it on to others". Funnily enough, I went in with my...

    Titanium wires

You only get hot spots if you make contact coils. The problem as I see it that the people promoting and providing e-cigarettes to people are not aware of the fact that they should not be torching wires or that titanium is the safest option. Reviewers don't these things, and people selling them...

    SXmini M Class (TEMP CONTROL)

This joyetech seems very impressive. Non replaceable batteries are not my favourite but at that capacity they should go quite long... The device seems pretty solid and judging from their history, unless they've screwed up in some major way, the TC should work pretty well, particularly with Ti...

    SXmini M Class (TEMP CONTROL)

Temperature Control is dodgy enough as it is even on the most expensive mods. I'd stay away from any sort of clone for the foreseeable future if TC is what you're after...
