New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

I love Evolv products, their philosophy and what they stand for. My DNA60 is my best device. Unfortunately, unless the FDA regulations change in the US, they're going to become irrelevant pretty soon. They will be stuck with these products, unable to develop anything newer or rollout new...

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

TC works by measuring the sum of the resistance. This is why it is crucial you have an atomiser with a steady connection (Kayfun with spring didn't work well because of this) and a good 510 connection. Furthermore it's important that you don't have longer legs on your coil that aren't in contact...

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

If you're not using TC you're increasing exposure or the risk of being exposed to carcinogens towards the end of your puff as the wick dries out; it's even worse if you chain vape.

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

I've always hated the taste of combustible cigarettes and I've tried them numerous times but never became a smoker. I never got an unpleasant taste from vaping even the first times I tried it apart from a dry hit so I believe his hypothesis fails.

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

Do you have access to a good air compressor? You should be able to replicate it by pointing the camera from the top into the atomiser and introducing a constant air flow through the bottom air holes of an atomiser, using the compressor.

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

Very interesting thread and studies. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to go through the methodology and assumptions of each, to get a clearer picture. I' ve been a fan of TC since it was first introduced, not only for safety reasons but because of its potential to provide consistent flavour...

    High end RTAs

Closing down the air flow is definitely not the same as using one of those discs. The end result could be the same in terms of the draw but the flavour will be certainly different. I do think they overdid it with the amount of options though and the price.

    High end RTAs

It is their own fault that they haven't evolved, yet the market is still so small that they're doing pretty well. Their future is ominous though. Chinese products have become so much better that I'm at a point that I've left my expensive GG, Rose etc. atomisers on the side. I'm currently using...

    High end RTAs

I think it's fairly certain from those photos that you'd have to remove the coil. The only atomiser that allows you to do this is afaik is the Tilemahos Armed. It's one of the few features Imeo has got right lately (and the springomizer).

Not for me. I believe you either have a faulty one or you're wicking it wrong.

    GG Tilemahos Armed

This is not the case in the Armed, when you have to lower the coil so much.

    GG Tilemahos Armed

You're pushing the same power through the entire coil and temperature control can have some high bursts of power. Unless you manage to have the legs come into contact with a wet wick, which is not the case here, they will become hotter and definitely make the temperature control inaccurate.

    MTL rant

Yeah if you fly a lot it sucks. I fly at least once a month as well and I always remove my atomiser from my mod and rap it in a napkin. Funnily, my tilemahos always seemed too leek in juice from the tank into the chamber even with the juice flow control closed all the way, so there is some small...

Is the Hussar the king of all atomizers for flavour?

I find it offensive that you're asking this judging from the photos of a clone/copy.

    GG Tilemahos Armed

People used to claim that if you place the coil higher up, it increases throat hit. I can't vouch for this as a I stopped vaping nicotine juice a few years back. One thing I'm certain it does is reduce the intensity of the flavour. Furthermore, you never want long legs as it's very bad for...

Rebuildable Tank Atomizers - An Anthology, Pictorial, Builds and Reviews.

It definitely isn't a mutual project. First of all they didn't seem to be on good terms when they went their separate ways. Second, the Skyline is quite a bit different to Imeo's previous designs. Finally, he's not the person I see collaborating with anyone. He is brilliant and responsible for a...

Rebuildable Tank Atomizers - An Anthology, Pictorial, Builds and Reviews.

I've been hearing so many good things about the Skyline and I was very impressed when I first saw it being reviewed by Todd. It's on my wish list when it comes back in stock. I find it funny that it's released by ESG who used to be Imeos original reseller. Then they split up ESG ended...

    MTL rant

I think it's a bit sad that all the premium, smaller and older manufacturers of MTL tanks, have fallen so back nowadays. Imeo still make atomisers with metal or plastic bodies, still not the easiest tank to fill and insists on that rotating juice control, which you shouldn't need if you've...

    Augvape Merlin Mini By Roxy

I don't have the Merlin Mini but it's on its way. I think with all the positives people are saying about this (along with the previous Merlin) both from DTL and MTL vapers, they can't all be wrong.
