    Flavors substitution

Welcome, @ahmedabutaleb. I've yet to come across such a convenient resource as a spreadsheet listing flavor substitutions. Generally, tasting experience is the best way to decide which flavor to use--and how much--when you need to substitute, but some points of reference are available. I'll...

    Recipes for Dummies

Just throwing this out there, untested. Easy and meets your criteria. Try a small bottle like this: 7% DX Banana Cream (TPA) 2% Cookie (Biscotto) (FA) 1% Coconut (INW) Let it sit a day or two, at least. Not too fancy, but I'm betting you won't hate it.

    Hic recipes.

Maz, obviously everyone has an opinion, but I'll tell you I haven't yet run across an HIC recipe that I didn't enjoy. He's a low-total-flavor mixer, so there are many that don't go for that. FlavourArt generally requires 2+ weeks steeping for a recipe to fully develop, and there are many that...

    Single Flavor shots

Here are some of the one-shots (by which I mean complex flavors in one bottle) I've messed around with... Capella - Banana Split, Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble, Boston Cream Pie, Cappuccino, Cinnamon Danish Swirl, Lemon Meringue Pie. I liked the BS and BCP enough that I'll solo them again. The...

    Milk Tart (South African version)

@Ricksha - your v5b was the one I mixed (well, slightly modified as noted above), and it's probably ready for sampling very soon. Looks like I may have to try your straight v5 as well!

    BWB Malty Toffee Clone

VERY HAPPY FOR YOU, @Katcandoo! :w00t: OK, I'm going to spin this up tonight just to see what happens (small bottle of course)... Kinda Malty Toffee (adapted): 6% Caramel Toffee (Hangsen) 9% Cotton Candy (10% EM/Ethyl Maltol) (TPA) 1% Sweetener (Sucralose) (TPA) Flavor total: 16% As...

    Recipes for Dummies

You referenced this somewhere else and I tracked it down on ELR, made it a favorite, and adapted it like this: -swapped 4% TFA French Vanilla Crème for 3% CAP French Vanilla -swapped 4% INW Custard for 10% CAP Vanilla Custard v1 That INW Custard is powerful stuff, but I'm pretty sure I got the...

Can someone help with a Banana Cream Pie recipe?(kinda long)

@Andromendous - I think TFA Banana Nut Bread may be the secret ingredient you're looking for. It's a more realistic banana flavor in a sweet cake base. Punch it up with a some of your creams (TFA Whipped Cream would be a good one to start with), and you might find yourself homing in on your target.

    BWB Malty Toffee Clone

Another thought: you could get crystalline EM and dissolve it yourself. I'm not sure if it's miscible in VG, but it's worth a try in a heated batch. I'm sure it would mix at 15% or above in warm PG, so you could reduce it from 10% to about 6% of your e-liquid recipe....

    Help no whipped cream

I think you could safely skip the sweetener, it's only 0.5% after all. I would. I think the Lemon Sicily, Cookie, and Vienna Cream all provide enough sweetness by themselves....

    Help no whipped cream

@LeeLee26 - This post was recently re-referenced in the Recipes for Dummies thread: Not sure if you're using FA for your lemon and cookie ingredients, but this seems pretty close to what you're after.

    DIY Flavourart flavourless

The first thing I'd recommend is to mix without MTS Vape Wizard. It will change your taste perception. How much were you using? The fruits you are using are stronger than most FA flavorings. You should try the Fuji at 3%, and all the others at 2%...except Bongo Juice, about which I have no...

    Final flavorah review

I haven't used them before; seemed a bit pricey. I just recently bought a bottle of their Persimmon flavoring, mixed at 2% and now waiting for testing. It smells wonderful. They do seem to have a few unique flavors like that. I also bought Inawera Rhubarb at the same time, and it's waiting on...

    TFA cotton candy

My guess: Cotton Candy Fan Clubber? Amirite? It does seem excessive, but the high EM was surely intentional. Here's the old thread where members were trying to recreate both "Malty" and "Malty Toffee" from Backwoods Brews; it even has posts from the commercial owner. The primary flavor for...

    TFA cotton candy

I don't blame you. I couldn't imagine using EM anywhere near even 7%, until I came across that thread. Now, I may try it someday around 9%, in a little Malty Toffee "clone" I posted on that thread, but it's not high on the priorities list. I've not used any toffee flavor before, and my first...

    TFA cotton candy

@VapeLuvr - You probably know by now that I like my flavors in the low range, but I'm going to go against my usual advice here and say I wouldn't be afraid to take this one higher. IF I was interested in a Cotton Candy vape. Which honestly I'm not. However...I do see 3 stand-alone TFA Cotton...

    INA Lemon cake

Too bad I don't have any to test! I'll get some next order. I know you said it "wasn't quite there," but I'm not sure what's missing for you. @Clark Kent seems to have some experience with it, and he's adding cake (Nonna's), dough (Joy), lemon (Lemon Sicily) and candy (Torrone) in his recipe...
