What's the most $$$ you can justify spending on a premade 30ml of Juice?

That was my self-imposed limit when I started ($0.50/mL @ the 30mL size), and I considered it my "treat" level. Most juices I routinely bought cost less than half that. Now I'm in DIY. I just MIGHT make an occasional buy of Dr. Crimmy's from Viral Vapes, to support a local maker and a local...

What are you vaping right now??

Just finishing up some TFA Apple Pie, made at 10% in a 15mL bottle (with a drop each of Sweetener, EM and Acetyl Pyrazine). It seemed a little weak at first, but it's 3 weeks old now and is pretty much right on the mark. It's in the ST Nano on the 1.2ohm coil at 15W. On deck is Black Axis' Key...

Inconsistance taste on BIG batch DIY eliquid

@herb - Hey, let's be helpful. New guy needs help. Post #3 was a bit vague and had no real suggestions. You did suggest a picture of a calculator, OP eventually found the link on his own, tried it and liked it, and thanked you for it. Hopefully his results will improve, right?

Newbie buys 24mg for Aspire Atlantis

You should try this. Not everyone needs the same level of flavoring. It will be a cheap experiment in a small bottle.

    VAPE WILD ALWAYS DISAPPOINTING

Someone else once said that Sweet Complexity tasted like fish heads. :) Putting aside how one would know that taste, I think it's the most delicious plastic fish-head conconction ever. :thumb: P.S. I'm thinking my joke is maybe a little too subtle here. It doesn't taste like plastic or fish...

    Nic Levels Inconsistent

Some flavorings contribute to throat hit also. This undoubtedly explains the difference you're experiencing between the behavior of the Glas liquids, for example. If you need to add more throat hit, you can trying adding a little Flash: Flash-FA

Inconsistance taste on BIG batch DIY eliquid

I use this calculator most often, but I'd expect it renders the same results as most others: DIY e-juice | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators Usually I assume it's my fault when things go wrong; usually, I'm not wrong about THAT. Only human, after all. :)

Inconsistance taste on BIG batch DIY eliquid

I had another look at your pictures, where you compared coloration of the "perfect" 30mL batch with samples from your larger batches. Then I re-read your OP: Since you don't think it's an issue with steeping, and assuming you're still using all the same ingredients, the only thing left is an...

Is there a difference in taste between Shisha eliquid and regular eliquid?

Other than Shisha Tobacco Drop, the Inawera shisha flavors don't have tobacco notes. I suppose hookah users would add them to tobacco before indulging.

Inconsistance taste on BIG batch DIY eliquid

After THOROUGHLY mixing your large batch, try transferring it immediately to smaller bottles for steeping.

Is there a difference in taste between Shisha eliquid and regular eliquid?

Shisha is another word for hookah, a traditional Arabic water pipe. Inawera has a line of flavorings called "shisha," which are designed to be like the flavors added to hookah tobacco. They're pretty popular for e-liquid DIY, judging from the rave reviews...especially shisha strawberry, which...

    Banana flavored laffy taffy

I haven't tried Lorann's, but I've got TFA Ripe Banana at 10% tanked right now, and it's good. I'm not surprised if the flavor stands up at lower percentages, though. The manufacturer suggests trying it a 12-15%, or up to 20% for customers who like strong flavors.

    Banana flavored laffy taffy

RE: That recipe - I don't think CAP Banana Split, while good on its own, is the right starting point for a Laffy Taffy clone. To my mind, TFA Ripe Banana at 10% has the right flavor. I'd probably try adding 4% Marshmallow and 1% Sweetener to that and give it a test.

    Want to Start Mixing Juice

I started with THIS KIT, slightly customized (I skipped the glass beakers, and added 30 and 50 mL polypropylene graduated cylinders). I went with their kit-offered nic, PG and VG, but skipped the flavor sampler packs for the kit (picked my own flavors from their store). I use this online...

how to detect the good one?

Hi Rebecca. Can you tell us about your introduction to e-cigarettes? Do you know what kind of device you used? How did you like it? It's a pretty diverse crowd here, and you'll get a lot of opinions. You can spend a lot, or spend a little; there are good values at different price points. You...

How many mg of nic do you vape daily?

Cigarette smoking increases plasma nicotine levels 3-4 times faster than vaping, even using modern equipment. Here's a study done this year (using 18mg liquid): Nicotine absorption from electronic cigarette use: comparison between experienced consumers (vapers) and naïve users (smokers) P.S. I...

    A good chocolate ejuice

So far, the one I most enjoyed was Boston Cream Pie from Dr. Crimmy's V-Liquid. It can be had in high VG. Mine was 70VG. As a side note, I recently started making my own, using Boston Cream Pie flavor concentrate from Capella. I can't tell the difference.

New to vaping - can you get liquid with no flavour?

It's perfectly normal to continue smoking as you're getting started with vaping. When I first picked it up, I only intended to use it in some situations (having recently done business travel to a cold-weather city that didn't permit smoking in hotel rooms). No one was more surprised than I when...

New to vaping - can you get liquid with no flavour?

First, you're welcome! Secondly, no, water is not a good diluent for e-liquid. It's OK to use as a thinner--for instance if you have a high-VG liquid that's too thick to wick properly in a smaller tank--but only in minute quantities (like a couple drops of distilled water in a 30mL bottle). I...

New to vaping - can you get liquid with no flavour?

Unflavored is very not bad, and I find myself vaping it pretty frequently. You didn't specify, but if you're using 3, 6, 12 or 18mg liquid, you can get it dirt cheap right HERE (it's even on sale through tomorrow), as long as you're not too picky about PG/VG ratio. If you find it acceptable, you...
