    Lavatube battery end cap not closing

    Umm...That isn't an IMR battery, it's a protected lithium ion. Protected batteries are a bit longer because of the protection circuitry. I don't think you can get a 3100 mah imr battery any where. So yes, it doesn't fit because it's the wrong battery.

    I got a couple of pictures but it doesn't really show details very well. I gave a friend of mine the one that would show more details but any way... This is the post where I've removed the wire and filed off the existing solder. Make sure you put the heat shrink on before you start...
