From what i know Kaimaki (καιμἀκι) is a cream, made by Mastika (Μαστίχα) milk and Salepi. The Mastika is a recipie that is taken in the island of Chios. Some particular trees in this island produce a resin that is called "tears of Chios", that is the Mastik. this should be the Kaimaki... -
