    Thank you both! I did try burning off anything that may have been on the coil. and yes I meant ss mesh :/ forgot to put that one in there heh.. I did oxidize the mesh and there seems to be no shorts. I hope this can be figured out its quite upsetting.. been anxious for the wire and mesh seeing...
