Rayon wick, better flow, flavor, saturation and Nic Hit!

Nice looking device. As for wicking I'd drop the tails down into the drip well from both sides. You'll be dripping from the top so most of the juice will already be there when you drip. The only thing I would worry about is proper airflow if you stuff too much wicking in there. It will be tight...

Shipped is usually not an issue. The USPS on the other hand.... My juice seems to like to overnight in various cities. Detroit and Richmond for a full day each thus far. Longest shipment yet. My new mod made it from WA to VA in 3 days! Michigan is about 1/2 the distance. Darn gubment! Sent...

    P4U/Green Leaf IPV2 50W - Product Spec, Performance, Usage & Issues Thread

Well I cracked open my box this evening and notices a few things of concern. 1. The ground is indeed soldered to the screw at the top of the inside of the unit. This is a piss poor connection and will more than likely fail in due time. 2. The positive and negative connectors of the battery...

That and more air holes on the top of the device. The negative post air holes might be different as well but I am not sure. Oh and a silver plated 510 pin. Sent from my One using Tapatalk

    P4U/Green Leaf IPV2 50W - Product Spec, Performance, Usage & Issues Thread

Ok so I finally got my box in today. First impressions is that it is quite nice. I see what ya'll mean by pbusardo getting a "first run" product. I don't seem to have the issues that he was having. I cracked it open and looked at the connections. I must say that the solder jobs are piss poor...

Thanks for the tips guys on flipping the barrel. I was able to carry around my mod in my pocket with no leaks. When I got home I flipped the barrel around and went wide open to relax. Boy is this thing airy! It sure is a producer though. Using it at 16W with a parallel 30ga wrap tapping in at...

    P4U/Green Leaf IPV2 50W - Product Spec, Performance, Usage & Issues Thread

There is a thread in to co-op section that is getting a Sigelei 100W group buy together. I opted out of that buy as the specifications are not what I want/need at this point. You need to get verified to join the co-op but may be a way to save some coin from full retail prices. There is also a...

There are miniscule holes opened up with the barrel flipped (it corresponds with the opening in the top cap), and on my unit the main air hole is slightly below where is was in normal mode. It is almost directly in line with the bottom portion of the deck lip. I'd say in general it won't make a...

Rayon wick, better flow, flavor, saturation and Nic Hit!

Tbev I believe there is a fairly detailed thread that shows the UC steep method equaling about a 2 weeks steep the old fashioned way. I believe I read that here in the DIY section at one time. I can't find the thread off hand and maybe some of the DIY pros can find it or help you out with actual...

^^ Agreed. Anyone notice a big difference with the insulator screwed down into the unit to allow airflow in from the tippy top holes? I wrapped my threads on the insulator in dental floss and that made it so it was not loose and wobbly when I allow air in the unit from the top. Honestly IMO it...

    New blog series coming!

How about a tour of the facility(s)? Everybody seems to tout the clean rooms with folks in Tyvek suits (I call them poopy suits..lol). Meet the KJ staff? How is our juice created cradle to grave? Is there going to be a KJ hardware line? Swag? I always wanted to know if there was a poor soul...

Wonder if it has to do with the solder joints on the inside of the box? I don't have mine yet so I can't comment on the internal construction, but I have peered inside other China boxes and sometimes the solder job looks like Stevie Wonder did it. I believe the box is also the ground connection...

Must be the builds. I get leaks out the bottom holes and sometimes out the main air channels when I turn the head to change my airflow. I have some experimenting to do in the future and I'll see if I can get this one nailed down and leak free. Worst case I'll stick a toothpick in the bottom...

And it leaks like a .... in my case (tobeco). I don't fault Tobeco for the leaking I believe it is the overall design. Could be my wicking method but that is only masking the root problem IMO. It vapes like a frickin' champ, but my OCD doesn't like juice on the fingers. If I wanted to wash my...

    Cotton Boiling?

The sally rayon is easier to get and you get more for less money. The delasco balls are a good alternative as well. I have tried both and can tell no difference between the two. Edit: $3.50 for 200 balls plus $4.00 shipping isn't that bad.
