Nice looking device. As for wicking I'd drop the tails down into the drip well from both sides. You'll be dripping from the top so most of the juice will already be there when you drip. The only thing I would worry about is proper airflow if you stuff too much wicking in there. It will be tight...- atroph

Shipped is usually not an issue. The USPS on the other hand.... My juice seems to like to overnight in various cities. Detroit and Richmond for a full day each thus far. Longest shipment yet. ^^ Agreed. Anyone notice a big difference with the insulator screwed down into the unit to allow airflow in from the tippy top holes? I wrapped my threads on the insulator in dental floss and that made it so it was not loose and wobbly when I allow air in the unit from the top. Honestly IMO it... -

I don't have mine yet so I can't comment on the internal construction, but I have peered inside other China boxes and sometimes the solder job looks like Stevie Wonder did it. Must be the builds. I get leaks out the bottom holes and sometimes out the main air channels when I turn the head to change my airflow. I have some experimenting to do in the future and I'll see if I can get this one nailed down and leak free. Worst case I'll stick a toothpick in the bottom... -

Cotton Boiling?
The sally rayon is easier to get and you get more for less money. The delasco balls are a good alternative as well. I have tried both and can tell no difference between the two. Edit: $3.50 for 200 balls plus $4.00 shipping isn't that bad.- atroph
