    The Boss........LOL. A bunch of the custom knife maker guys use 416 but as you already mentioned is does not have the best corrosion resistance. I just pick some up online from Mcmaster when I run out. What I like about the 416 is that when machining 416SS produces chips instead of strings.

    Powder coating is definitely way thicker than Cerakote and sometimes it hard to work with if you have tight tolerances. I coat with both weekly.

    The Brass looks sweet! to bad it tarnishes so quickly though some people like that. I played with some aluminum bronze and it looks like brass but holds up well to staining.

    New problem - stuck EVOD! Cannot unscrew it to refill it - help!

    Also if you have gouges on your EVOD from removing it with pliers I would toss it, as it's an easy way to cut yourself or get chunks of plating stuck in your hand.
