    Boge Revolution V2.1 Electronic Cigarette Kit while not nearly as good looking as any other bottom feeder might work if you are on a limited budget. I can not vouch for the quality of the mod but I figured it should be mentioned as an option.

    If you use juice that leaves sediment in the cartos they may just be getting clogged. I would just order some more and pitch those ones, but you can try cleaning them. In my experience, after cleaning cartos they just don't taste the same.

    I would probably have gotten a assorted valve if I didn't already have the dremel. So far I haven't had any problems slotting my cartos, but now that you mentioned people having issues with shavings and such I'll keep a close eye on it to make sure I don't have the same issues.

    I use a dremel to slot cartos that I put in tanks but you have to be really careful not to cut too deep or it will just drain the juice out of the tank

    The battery you have should be sufficient for most cartomizers. The reason I was unimpressed with the dual coil carto is because it wasn't consistent.     The lower the number of ohms the warmer the vape will be. Low resistance cartomizers are not recommended for batteries rates at less than 450mah. I have used both single and dual coil cartomizers on an ego type battery like the one shown in the op and wasn't very impressed with the performance.

    I personally wouldn't worry about it, the people that give dirty looks are likely too ignorant to learn about something that will help save your life. I say just carry on vaping as normal and if they are curious enough they will ask.
