I will. Probably wont be til this weekend though. Anybody have any insight on putting a spring on the positive post. Ideas??? Suggestions????
My thought was to use a spring from a pen with a washer or 2 on top

My local Ace Hardware has all the little bins and containers of assorted screws and washers. I had to hunt but I found 2mm washers and nuts. I bought several of the 2 and 2.5mm as well as come 2mm nuts. I am going to try to do the spring/washer mod on my positive post when I get the time.

I just got my AGA-T2 from COV but I'm having a little issue. Has anyone else had an issue with the top nut on the center post acting like its stripped. Actually I should say its more like the rod acts like its stripped. The rod is almost flush with the top of the nut before the threads catch...
I'm sure you posted that as a joke but under NO circumstances use natural wool. IF and I say IF it would get too hot or burn it produces toxic gasses.

I've got to chime in here. I too spent literally hundreds of dollars chasing that one great tobacco taste. Unlike most I did want something reminiscent of when I smoked. Don't ask me why but just for example there is nothing like that 'morning smoke' with coffee (I know, I'm strange but...
Ok all,
I got my AGA-T2 today (Love vapemail days). Promptly rolled a 400 SS wick and torched it. Wrapped it with 32g Kanthal and it worked pretty good. (Thanks to eHuman's guide with a touch of PBusardo's video). Only problem was a hot spot between the Pos. Post and the coil. Tried leaning...
A mechanical mod is the way most of them were in the beginning. Big battery, no electronics. The problem was at the time there were higher resistance coils (carto's, T2's etc.) and with a mech. you can't get it above the battery's voltage. Along cane the variable voltage that solved that...
I want to say I have been following you guys in this thread because I have my AGA-T2 that should be here tomorrow or Thursday. I am very experienced with ceramic wick but not so much with stainless mesh. I have watched video after video so I am ready but I am sure the lessons learned here will...
No that wasn't it (Although the concept is interesting). What I saw was on a roll and looked similar to SS Mesh. I am almost positive they were talking about putting one wrap around the SS wick.
Steve
Not to .... in here but I thought I read in a thread somewhere about a ceramic mesh or wrap that you can place around the SS mesh. If I recall correctly it was almost paper thin and would require no oxidizing the wick. This might solve the problem. I'm looking but I can't remember where it...
I had to wire mine without the resistor. I either had a bad resistor (doubtful) or I screwed up adjusting the LM board. Either way gsa guided me through the process of removing it.
+ from the battery attaches to the fuse then the fuse goes to the IN+ on the board.
The diode is removed and...
Rechecked it with my better meter (ie; not Harbor Freight) Resistance is 3.6 I'm getting 1.5 volts out of it with the button pushed. 4 volts going in.
