GSA,
Upon troubleshooting my welder not working and checking and double checking my connections I found that I am NOT getting voltage out of the resistor. Got volts going in but nada coming out. Is it ok to remove it?? Not sure whats up.
Steve
Well.......I got my welder built using gsa's guide and no go. I think the board is bad. I get zero volts at the posts. I've checked and double checked my connections. The adjustment screw just spins and spins. I'll try to tear it apart tomorrow and see what I may have done.

I noticed that too about the smaller o-ring. I think the smaller o-ring is for when you use it with the UFS. it is a 1.78 x 1.78 mm o-ring. I wasn't sure so I replaced it with a 3 x 2 mm o-ring which is what the official ody o-ring guide calls for.

Couple of things I noticed. The post on the original ody is slightly longer (maybe 1mm or less). Kind of weird because it shorts out the Vamo but not the Provari. After backing the ceramic holder off a bit it works fine though. Aslo found that I'm not so hip in using 3.5mm silica in the V2...
Thanks, I'm seriously thinking of having the hot (+) lead use solid maybe 14 or 16 gauge wire. Pop it in the post and it will stay where you put it. Make the other lead flexible and then it helps steady the whole thing. The hot rigid wire holds one end then just tap it with the other.

Not trying to plug any particular brand here but I too was searching long and hard for that one great cigarette replacement and basically there are few to be found. The absolute best though after spending hundreds of dollars is one from Parkes Vaping called ashtray. As nasty as it sounds it...
Picked up some Mimo at the store. It's the super concentrated stuff you squeeze into water for flavoring. Looking at the ingredients i see thet PG is one of the main ones. Has anyone tried this as flavoring??? It's super concentrated so it wouldn't take much. I'm sure there are issues with...
As far as leaving the flavor control open at night you will get varying responses to it. I vape either 60/40 pg/vg or 50/50 and I leave mine open with NO flooding. If you use a higher PG juice it might flood. When you get the gurgling just close off the flavor control completely for a few...
gsa,
Are you going to post your how-to guide for building one of these in here or in another thread?? I have all of my stuff just waiting for some guidance.

So I was at the mall when I just happened to check the forum on my phone (I know, I have no life) and saw kwalka's post about the V2's innards being in. Opened the browser on my phone went to COV's site and saw they were available. I really debated just waiting til I got home but was waiting...
I widened the channels in my Term. and have tried both 2 & 3 in it. I left the channels in my Term.-c the standard size (as a precaution I bought an extra ceramic). So far what I have found to work perfectly is to use the 2mm wick in the channels and wrap an extra piece of 3mm at the top...
