    Well, I've been messing with it for a couple of hours and I did get a good coil built with lots of vapor and okay throat hit (btw - I'm a wuss - I like a mild throat hit) - anyway, it worked great for a few minutes and then shorted enough to kill the coil. I think the SS mesh must be hitting...

    I would think a short too but it's been this way since I got it - with the pre installed wick, the replacement wick and now the SS wicks. I must be doing something wrong but I don't know what.
