Authentic Gate MTL RTA by Ambitions Vaper
I am also interested in this. Looks to tick all boxes regarding what an RTA should be. We have seen that before, though, on attys which have turned out to be crap, so we'll see. I wonder if there is a bubble glass which would fit the 2ml version. -

My hope is that more affordable regulated squonkers are designed with the chip in its own compartment seperate from the 510. Also, the 510 should be exposed like in most mechanical squonkers, so whatever leakage can be easily cleaned. Here is one example:- mrjohs

I have disassembled it, and no coating of the electronics were visible to my naked eyes. Even if it was, I wouldn't trust it. In some light rain, or in case of juice spillage, sure, but I wouldn't place a large bet that it really is 100% water proof.- mrjohs

Meh... Keep it tiny. For a v2, make it even tinier and remove all of those "decorations" which just makes it ugly. I.e the imitated carbon fibre, the oil rig and the fugly rsq logo. All of that has to go.- mrjohs

So after using it I have discovered a weakness, at least with mine. If I pack too much cotton, obviously I get dry hits. But if I put too little cotton, it will keep wicking even when I am not puffing on it, until it floods the deck and starts leaking. I am pretty sure all o-rings are sealing... -

Skyline RTA vs. Dwarv MTL?

I have had a 510 break on me on another mod cause I cranked an atty with a little bit long 510 connection down on it. In that case it was a plastic insulator that broke. In any case, if you force something down on a 510 too hard something is gonna have to give in.- mrjohs

Don't. Get the YFTK instead. Why? The Ulton version, which I believe the one you linked to is, has the airflow holes not properly drilled out. If you study the FT pics closely, you'll see that on the Ulton the holes are slightly narrower on the inside than on the outside. This affects vape... -

With the level of tolerance required to make that to work, it wil obviously be a bit hit or miss. In Geekayvapes' video he even has an issue with one of the reducers on the authentic. If I was the designer I'd 100% go with an o-ring solution. Not as fancy, but much sturdier. -

There is one thing I wonder: I see on 3fvape that they are seeling the airflow pins seperately. Should it not be possible to just saw the upper head off of those, so you could have no restrictor in the air hole on the deck at all? -
