    Coppervape's Skyline Clone

Ok, so I removed the little o-ring on the shaft of the inner chamber, and did the following experiment: 1) Filled the tank with disposable liquid. 2) Removed/inserted base to relieve pressure. 3) With the tank upright, opened/closed JFC 3-4 times in a row. That led to juice pouring out of the...

    Coppervape's Skyline Clone

Yeah. I can actually feel the suckage. The JFC gets harder to turn, and when the bubbles rise it becomes easy to turn again. It feels like opening a refrigerator door that is stuck because of vacuum. That sounds pretty much similar to what I do. TBH I think that wicking this way or that way...

    Coppervape's Skyline Clone

Ok, so it seems I have confirmed what I was suspecting: It dumps juice into the chamber when opening the JFC. Here's how I arrived at that conclusion: 1) Had a vape break, everything worked normal. 2) Took out the base to check and it was adequately saturated. 3) Put the base back in. 4) Closed...

On some of them it seems like the outer o-ring on the LFC cap is wrong. There is one that is a little bit smaller diameter in the spares bag. Swap it out for that one and it will be much better. Had to do it on the one I got from FT, but not on the one from CV.

I too have had some of those issues. It frustrates me, because this tank has all the bells and whistles, build quality is outstanding and the vape is great. I have wondered what the o-ring on the inner shaft is for. The one on the piece that moves up or down as you adjust the JFC. What would...

    Coppervape's Skyline Clone

I had that same problem a couple of pages ago. It was solved for me by 1) only filling until the top of the glass (bottom of fill holes) and 2) opening the JFC for the first time after filling with the tank upside down. Lately I have dared to skip #2, just opening the JFC after filling a little...

Little itty bitty mods under $100.

The Vapcige SD Nano 60W surfaced on FT today. Looks interesting at 74mm tall with an 18650. Will look out for reviews on this one.

I am wondering: Is that of any real consequence? I do notice a relatively "dark" flavor, but I think that was also present right after cleaning the whole tank and filling for the first time.

    Coppervape's Skyline Clone

I got mine from FT lately, the one with no logos. I also have one with logos which I ordered from Coppervape directly. As far as I can tell it is 100% the same. If anything the one from FT is a little better. On the one from CV the 510 positive screw is very shallow and easy to strip. Other than...

    Coppervape's Skyline Clone

So I have tried burping* it after each refill, as well as leaving a little bit of space free when filling it. After that it has been 100% trouble free. I don't know why I had flooding issues and none of you, might be since I use 50/50 juice and like the wicks loose so they feed the coil...

    Coppervape's Skyline Clone

Yeah, it's weird that it seems to be just me having these issues. At one instance I wicked it too tightly so I was having (almost) dry hits. Still flooded. I'll try burping and turning upside down when closing jfc first, then if that works out I'll try without doing that. In any case I'll leave...

When I fill? Not really. Maybe I could try that.

    Coppervape's Skyline Clone

Well, as that inner chimney moves down it does occupy volume which otherwise is up at the drip tip. I will try turning it upside down when closing the JFC, AND burp it after filling, and we'll see what happens.

    Coppervape's Skyline Clone

Yes! I'm gonna do that from now on, and see if it alleviates the issue. Thanks for the idea!

    Coppervape's Skyline Clone

I have not noticed any sharp edges. I have noticed darkening of juice. It MIGHT be caused by a little bit of air coming through between the inner and outer chamber.

    Coppervape's Skyline Clone

So, some issues are emerging: In some cases I experienced flooding after filling it. After a bit of research I suspected that the JFC actually pushes juice into the chamber when closing it. Think about it, it makes sense: It makes the tank volume a bit smaller, so the juice has to go somewhere...

So here's my offset posts. Anyone else got this?

    Coppervape's Skyline Clone

According to Coppervape the ones sold directly from their factory has logos, others don't. So the ones from 3fvape, 2fdeal etc should also not have logos. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    Coppervape's Skyline Clone

Quite sure I did not, but can't guarantee it. As far as I have seen there are three insulators in the base: 1) One for the 510 screw on the very bottom. 2) A larger disc that the "L" shaped positive post rests on. 3) A tiny one which goes up the hole for the positive post. Have I missed any?

    Coppervape's Skyline Clone

Yeah... On his the posts align to the same height as he screws the base together. On mine, the positive post (on the right when viewed from front) is slightly lower than the negative post after screwing the base together. It's not a problem, I am just curious as to wether this is normal on the...
