    Sounds like you got a solid build there. Gigabyte is an extremely reliable board so long as you make sure you get compatible RAM. Since you're doing video editing, I will suggest at least 8GB with a 64bit OS. And a +1 for the MPC plug. I practically live on their website.

    Just be sure to rig up a pump and a radiator to circulate and cool the liquid. Otherwise you'll get hot spots near the heat generators. :D

    It would probably work if you created an .iso image of your ubuntu partition, copy it to your new drive, then do a direct upgrade to 10.04 (or you could upgrade first, then do the iso). Then you should be able to use gparted to clear out the original installation and expand your windows...

    try opendns. It's an independent DNS server with a website that you can create an account on and set restrictions and monitor internet activity. It's more than likely faster than your ISP's DNS servers to boot.
