Straight off the battery at 4.2 volts? Um...the P3, like all ProVari's before it, can reduce voltage. This isn't an obsolete DNA 30 chip in there, after all. :D Edit: I do typically use mechs, and the voltage through most of the battery's life is 3.7 volts. 4.2 volts is nice, but it only lasts... -

Since I vape .7ohm coils at 3.7v, I'm counting on this hotshot feature to let me have a mech-like experience on the P3. .7ohms at 3.5v will land right at the 5 amp limit and 17.5 watts. Will I be able to realistically run this setup, or will the P3 spit errors (with and without boost running)... -

Now I remember why I don't spend much time in here. Bottom line is this. Stainless is a poor material to use for threaded applications. It's brittle and hard to machine, and threads have a tendency to break off or strip. That all being said, replacing the screw will probably solve the problem... -

Volts, watts, temperature. Semantics. The ProVari could be programmed to display joules instead of volts, but it would perform the same way. I don't see this as a game changer. If this is the direction evolv is going, it would appear to require a purpose built atty. -
