SO - What is going to happen ?

There are established retail sellers of nic operating outside the US. May be they are shipping to the US. May be they will continue to do that. May be customs will not try or will not be able to stop small package shipments of niic. The ecig industry in the US may know the status of nic...

Who here is not stocking up in preparation for the May 12th, 2020 Deadline?

I use 1% of an all-in-one flavoring in my mix. It's subtle enough there is no pallat fatigue so no variety is needed. I mixed a liter and put it in the freezer a couple weeks ago. It will last about 5 months. This makes life simpler and keeps the cost at 1 cent per ml, about $25 a year cost...

Who here is not stocking up in preparation for the May 12th, 2020 Deadline?

The vapers who buy their eliquid in vape shops expect 100+ flavors in various nic percents which they can try before they buy. That requires retail display space that the black market operator doesn't have. There may be a few eliquids that filed a PMTA and perhaps they will be available after...

Who here is not stocking up in preparation for the May 12th, 2020 Deadline?

I have several drawers full of vape stuff and it all cost a small fraction of the $15,000 I would have spent on cigs. Go a step further. Parents who smoke the same as me x 2. The switch to vaping and mix and rebuild. Now they're saving most of $6,000 a year. That is money to provide a...

Who here is not stocking up in preparation for the May 12th, 2020 Deadline?

The best thing about vaping is being able to eliminate nearly all the cost by mixing and rebuilding. It makes sense regardless of the government. Smoking a carton a week cost me $3,000 a year. That money can buy a lot of other things. These days I mix with a scale, faster, easier than...

    Are you done stocking up?

I once had a boutique manufacturing shop. When your market is growing so does your inventory. Bigger manufacturers who have been growing find it harder to ramp production up and down easily. Suddenly there is way more uncertainty than in the past. How much inventory is hanging over the...

    Deeming Regulations have been released!!!!

I doubt there will be a street corner style black market trade in nic vaping products because it won't be lucrative compared to the risks. After May 20 there will still be vape products available to buy as far as Federal law. But there is likely to be fewer shops wiith fewer products. And if...

    Are you done stocking up?

For 4 years I kept only one mod and atomizer in service. Now it's 9, for testing to decide what extras to buy. I need to get it down to 3 or may be 4. In the mean time I'm not done following the market. The best clearance deals may be yet to come. Thanks to all for all the great tips so...

    Deeming Regulations have been released!!!!

Any legislator can create a bill and submit it for consideration. The overwhelming majority of bills go nowhere. I haven't noticed anything implying the federal government plans to sanction possession for personal use. So far there is no Federal sanction relating to manufacturing so long as...

FDA If we were (better) organized, we'd....

I'm guessing, if there needs to be a black market, it will be small packages from off shore. If it works it won't do much for the public's health since very very few current smokers will go to that trouble and may be not even most vapers. IQos is coming. Governments will love that because it...

FDA If we were (better) organized, we'd....

Perhaps the most effective thing vapers could be doing is get out the vote. They aren't listening because they don't care about anything that concerns vapers. Follow the money.

    Diyers, not that many

I think I was rebuilding after about 6 months and mixing within a year. I wanted convenience, a better vape, lower cost, and peace of mind. I'd be surprised if 100,000 US vapers are DIY. I stopped talking to coworkers who vape about stockpiling, it only annoyed them. I had a minimum stash...

Thanks all for the feedback. For a few cents a coil I have to give them a try. An order get's placed this evening. FT reminded me that nothing is shipped between Jan 20 and Feb 1, Chinese holiday.

    Vice: America's Strange Nicotine Regulations

My understanding is the low nic is by using a modfied tobacco variety that doesn't make much nic. If that's the only way it will be a while before it could be common. An interesting use would be to smoke those while simultaneously making the switch to vaping. Might make the transition easier.

    Are you done stocking up?

Someone here suggested looking at this squonker. I wanted a squanker with TC and was choking on the prices. I took a chance, ordered 3 for $60, free shipping and a coupon code (which I've misplaced, see previous post). They arrived very fast, a few days. I've only had a few hours with one of...

The Final Count Down -- Are You Ready?

Thankyou. If you have others near at hand I hope you'll post them. These will be helpful to vapers who are late to the stocking party. It took me a while to deciide the best way to handle these higher concentrations. Say I have a liter of 250mg nic, in PG base, that's needed for mixing...
