Which companies are likely to survive post september 09 ptma

I perceive there are plenty of people who miss their cigarettes and happy for an excuse to go back to smoking. May be there will be a big spike in adult and kid smoking when enough shops are closed that will be hard to ignore.

No More Flavored Ejuice in NY...? What about...

A big part of why vaping is so disruptive is the first principles are so few and so easy, the cost to impliment is so cheap and there are so many ways to implement it. For the cheap part start with nicotine. $50 of one product replaces $9,000 of some established product. What's more...

    Are you done stocking up?

I picked up a bunch of pre coiled stainless wire from FT, very cheap. I can make my own but like the convenience for so little money, like pennies per coil. Seems to me like this would be the wrong moment to sell vape stuff, may be better for investment. On the other hand governments should be...

No More Flavored Ejuice in NY...? What about...

I worked on the math 6 years ago. I spent $3,000 a year to smoke a carton a week. A liter of 100 mg will last me 3.3 years. In round numbers that's $15 a year to replace 200 times the cost of cigarettes (at $60 a carton). A $50 bottle of nic replaces over $9,000 worth of cigaretes. in high...

PMTAs - who is doing what?

Okay, compare with the low end of what a vaper pays for the same in a shop. How about rock bottom store price, 10 cents per ml. He's spending more in the shop than for the same amount of nic to mix at home. Mixing with $300 nic is cheaper than 10 cents per ml pre-mix. If you're used to...

PMTAs - who is doing what?

This synthetic nic is offered at $300 per100mg liter. That would hold me for at least 3 years, $100 per year. When I stopped smoking 6 years ago I was paying $3,000 a year to smoke a carton a week so even this nic is a bargain and I would buy it without hesitation if necessary. The same...

    Are you done stocking up?

I won't use anything for power that doesn't at least have a reliable fuse. Pretty much all the injury accidents while vaping are caused by mech mods. I won't buy a phone or power tool with no protections, let alone stick it up to my face.

    Are you done stocking up?

I've got this order in the works, copy and paste from FT. Won't arrive in the US until after 9/9, will see what happens. Most of my stockpile is Picos for out and about and some vtc minis for backup and around the house. I got a few other mods bought later but the Picoo and vtc are still my...

PMTAs - who is doing what?

The US government could file a lawsuit in a chinese court against, say, Fastech to enforce a US law but the judge would say he can only enforce chinese law unless China had a treaty with the US agreeing to that. The same thing is true between US states. After that what does the tobacco law say...

    Are you done stocking up?

I pulled the trigger today on $40 worth of minor stuff from FT. There's no way it will hit US shores before the deadline so we'll see what happens. This situation feels unusual. Millions of people are affected, interference with something that EVERYBODY knows is positive for health. The...

    Are you done stocking up?

There are concerns that OLED screens can fade over about 10 years even siting on the shelf unused. My Pico'S and VTC mini's are in my stock pile partly because they can be configured via PC with artic fox firmware. Glass in an atomizer could break if there is glass. Gaskets could need to be...

Is the PMTA as scary as many think it is?

In a couple weeks we'll see who's still doing business, what they have for sale, and who is closed. It's predictable that the businesses might not discuss business problems with customers. That would probably only hurt business. They would dicuss big sales, if they were having big sales...

Vaping ad tactics 'exploited' the pandemic, study says

There is an old tradition in public health to lie for the purpose of getting people to do what public health people decide is best. Public health lied about face masks and freely admitted it. Everybody here knows they've been lying about vaping for years without shame. I follow the...

Atomizers, mods, nic, and may be spare parts. Everything else is generic and been around longer than ecigs.

    Deeming Regulations have been released!!!!

I did myself a favor starting DIY 5 years ago. Flavor scares were the fashion back then so my first batches used the smallest amount of all-in-one favoring practical. So now I'm fine with 1% of one flavor full time (I mix for a brother who prefers the same.) Stronger flavor tends to cause me...
