    Deeming Regulations have been released!!!!

Below is an email I got from CASSA. Scroll down far enough and you'll find a link to writing to the Pres and your zip code will identify your senators and rep and compose emails for them too. While all eyes are on the White House this week, we are reminding members that several bills in...

    Deeming Regulations have been released!!!!

In an interview I recall Roslyn Carter (First Lady) said her grandmother advised her, you never have to regret something you didn't say. (Somebody please pass that along to Trump.) The Pres should have stayed out of this but may be we'll be better off because of it. Now he's got to take time...

Vaping Use Prompts Trump Administration to Weigh Flavored E-Cigarettes Ban

Touche! Fair point. But governments limit our discretion in all sorts of ways for all sorts of reasons and we can quibble and debate them until all the options are gone. I want my next president to be somebody who cares about my health and my freedom. BTW, in my opinion we don't have a...

Seeking relief from nicotine addiction, some e-cigarette users turn to smoking

That kid is going back to smoking because he prefers it to vaping. Not rocket science. The people who depend on funding from cigarette taxes know who they are. They need vaping to be banned while cigarettes remain for sale. If you pay attention you'll notice the anti vaping crowd is...

Vaping Use Prompts Trump Administration to Weigh Flavored E-Cigarettes Ban

I believe vapers are politically significant, not just numbers (10-20 million) but may be, hopefully, passion. If we make enough noise may be the Whitehouse will get the message. In 2016 I decided I was a single issue voter. Every vote I cast considered only the likelihood that the candidate...

    More media madness!

We don't call it journalism any more. We call it "the media". For a week or two there is no formal action to take because an executive order has not been made public. Once that happens I'm sure several groups will be going to court and they are probably talking to each other right now. In...

Banned? Help!! I have been out of the loop....

Trump has instructed the FDA to recommend executive actions the president can take to address the use of ecigs by children. The expectation is they will recommend banning the sale of flavored eliquid, presumably containing nicotine, except for tobacco flavoring. May be they will recommend...

What does this ban mean for the rest of the world?

A lot of nations pay attention to what the US does with things like public health and aviation safety. You might hear voices in your nation calling for a flavor ban on the pretext that it's happening in the US. Mosts all governments have a conflict of interest with vaping because vaping...

What does this ban mean for the rest of the world?

I didn't read all the preceding posts. According to what has been said by government officials without being specific so far, selling of flavored eliquids, other than tobacco flavor, will not be legal in the US. That does not stop any American eliquid company from making eliquid for export...

We need nation-wide protests against the flavor ban!!!

Market share doesn't matter much if there's no product to buy.

We need nation-wide protests against the flavor ban!!!

CBS news report says there are 22 MILLION vapers in the US. I'd love to know where they got that. May be it's enough to cost him a second term. We do have some clout if there are so many of us. Making the announcement on an annaveresary of 9/11 was a huge blunder. I watched the second plane...

Can DIY with flavors truly be banned?

Perhaps we'll know in a couple of weeks. Perhaps a judge will decide if the 30 day period proceeds on schedual. My read of public statements so far is only flavored eliquid is covered. Time will tell.

Can DIY with flavors truly be banned?

Perhaps I misunderstood the thread. Listening to the high up officials representing their intentions I'd say they don't have a firm grasp of the intricasies. My read is they are banning the sale of pre-mix, not any individual ingredients. If they banned nic it would contridict allowing...

People are throwing Juuls out windows to quit

A common news item is some court granting an injunction blocking a Trump administration action. This could turn out to be another one of those.

Can DIY with flavors truly be banned?

If the government officials are choosing their words carefully all they are talking about is pre-mix, liquids ready to vape. I havn't noticed a direct mention of unflavored. Banning nic concentrate would mean no eliquid, flavored or not.

People are throwing Juuls out windows to quit

I would expect JUUL users to be the least interested in learning anything about their smoking cure. One thing to watch for is whether there is an uptick in cigarette sales. To ban vaping while cigarettes remain for sale as always means you have to tell some really big lies. I feel a little...

Vaping Use Prompts Trump Administration to Weigh Flavored E-Cigarettes Ban

Today is the anniverary of 9/11. I was watching TV and saw the second plane hit the WTC--no accident. My next thought was, we are at war.

Vaping Use Prompts Trump Administration to Weigh Flavored E-Cigarettes Ban

The product that's making people sick is unflavored, contains T_C, not nicotine, and is sold illegally on the black market. How are people safer by removing flavored nicotine products sold legally?

These industries will soon be tied together

weed and nicotine create gigantic businesses that generate huge amounts of money. In the case of nicotine most of the revenues go to taxes which then funds, directly or indirectly, the people whining about vaping. That accounts for 99% of this week's brouha ha.

    Are you done stocking up?

I got 3 differrent pods and vaped them for a while. I never considered them part of the stash because not rebuildable and no replaceable battery. Even so I drifted away from using them for so long the cartriges seem to stop working right. Not worth the bother. Still prefer my pico with SV...
