How do you guys and girls do your diy mixing

Where I'm most careful about stirring or shaking is the nic concentrate bottle that may have been unused for months and sitting in the freezer. I want to be sure what I pour from that bottle is the correct percentage of nic and pg.

How do you guys and girls do your diy mixing

What I like about a mixing app on my phone is ability to save ingredients and recipies for future use. Liquix does that for me. I'm sure there are others.

    Are you done stocking up?

I was looking for black and a metal tank option instead of glass or plastic plus it seems to come recommended. In the mean time I'm notified a FT order is packaged and on the way to USPS and I have a tracking number email set up. So far I'd say FT order is progressing faster than usual. I...

How do you guys and girls do your diy mixing

Life is easier with a competent mixing calculator. I've been using this one for every mix from the beginning. I believe I even have the paid version. If you put in the cost of the various ingredients it will tell you what the mix cost. That's where I get my 1 cent per ml...

How do you guys and girls do your diy mixing

I have a collection of beakers and syringes that I never use and a set of graduated glass cylinders and only use the 10 ml size for flavoring. My kitchen scale is more than accurate enough for the other ingredients in 1 liter batches. Mixing directly into the storage bottle saves cleanup time...

How do you guys and girls do your diy mixing

Lately I'm mixing one liter batches of 50/50 pg/vg plus 12mg nic. A digital kitchen scale is accurate enough for 1 liter batches. Usually I also add flavor since I've been vaping only one flavor at only 1%. I measure the flavoring with a graduated glass cylinder because it's usually 10 ml or...

    Are you done stocking up?

FT shipped this order yesterday. They got it assembled quickly even though several items were not in stock. This shipment will be even slower than the new slower because one item has a battery. Except for the slip rings I consider this order to be vape toys. Silicone Anti-slip Ring for...

    Are you done stocking up?

Mixing is easy. The challenge is confidence. Here's a way, may be, to build some confidence. You probably always buy the same percent of pg, vg, and nic so first make a batch of that, no flavoring. There are plenty of apps and calculators to tell you exactly how much of each for a given size...

    Are you done stocking up?

I estimate a regulated mod should last 2 years of continuous service but what if the screens can die on the shelf? So my VTC mini's and picos can take Arctic Foxfirmware which allows configuring from a computer screen. I have some tube mods with minimal protection via replacable boards...

    Are you done stocking up?

I'm glad I've had amost 5 years to figure out stocking and if there's yet more time I'll keep thinking about it. Has anyone else noticed the thread about 'I'm not stocking up'? I suspect many of them wiish they were still smoking and all the interfernce is their exuse to switch back.

    Are you done stocking up?

I bought a bunch of pre would coils from FT a while back and like them. I can still make my own but for a few cents each why bother. I believe if I was still interested in vaping but not dexterous to rebuild I could literally pay someone if necessary. I have multiples of my favorite rda...

How to cut down on vaping?

I've been vaping 8-10 ml of 12mg nic for years. I tried lower nic, puff time and ml's increased proportionately. I increased nic, puffed the same and got a touch nic sick. Part of the hobby is, vape where no man has vaped before. Great moment was in an empty court room on the way back to...

    Are you done stocking up?

For each item FT will show the stock status or estimated ship date. If you are in a hurry don't include things with a far away ship date. Also, including any product with a battery may slow the order while it waits for transportation that allows batteries on board. If a package takes extra...

    Are you done stocking up?

I bet half of FT's business is ecigs and have of that goes to the US. They have to be using the same shippers as everyone else. Ordering not-in-stock items or devics with batteries adds some days to shipping.

Older Folks and Vaping Front Porch - Part 5

I've been paying close attention to the covid/smoking saga on twitter. The epidemeologic evidence that smoking is protective seems overwhelming to me. Then there is a very plausible mechanism, that nicotine is the active agent by binding to "ACE2" receptors on the cells, the same ones the...

Nic Base Storage: Freezer vs. Room Temp Experiment

I believe the greatest threat to my stored nic is breaking a bottle by clumsy handling. So the 1 liter glass bottle goes into a zip lock bag which is wrapped in bubble wrap then that goes into another zip lock bag and wrapped with tape (don't forget a label with supplier, date of purchase, and...

    Which one? Pod or Mod?

It's possible to have more than one right? I have a couple of pods but rarely use them because not enough power or battery life, dependent on coil heads that might become unavailable. I like TC at 30 max watts with an rda.

    Are you done stocking up?

I buy almost all hardware from FT. I like to do a bit of customizing. FT selection of dollar items, spare parts, orings, etc. is vast, nobody else comes close. I don't mind a long wait. Where they have been weakest for me recently is mods. Those seem to be coming from other suppliers...
