The Final Count Down -- Are You Ready?

The more likely work around would be buying pre mix from an online retailer who is off shore and the package slips through the cracks. It's hard to believe selling pre mix at scale within the US would be worth the risks. May be my problem is I can't understand why a pre mix business exists...

The Final Count Down -- Are You Ready?

Here in Michigan the popular smokable herb was legalized for recreational use by voter referendum last year. I don't follow things closely but I'm not aware of whether retail locations for that purpose exist yet. Retail locations for medical use exist already. I believe they sell vape gear...

The Final Count Down -- Are You Ready?

My approach to stockpiling was settled almost 5 years ago. I wanted a stash with a high probability of lasting 10 years and may be 20. Mods, atomizers, and nic are the only things I need to stockpile (plus silicone sleeves and a favorite drip tip). I assume a mod or atomizer will last 2 years...

Nic Base Storage: Freezer vs. Room Temp Experiment

The interest in this topic comes from a concern that nic is vulnerable to environmental stress so if it's not stored optimally in might not last the 10-20 years many of us are hoping for. I've smoked 10 year old cigars stored at room temperature and ambient humidity that still had their nic...

Nic Base Storage: Freezer vs. Room Temp Experiment

I'm confident about freezing nic for the simple reason I have first hand experience, currently vaping almost 5 year old nic stored in my freezer and it seems to be as good as new. I'm confident that 5 years from now my nic will still be good. I won't be surprised if potency is down very...

Nic Base Storage: Freezer vs. Room Temp Experiment

I transfer 1 liter plastic bottles of nic to 1 liter glass bottles for long term storage and transfer that to 4 250 ml bottles for mixing. I prefer the bottles in a zip lock bag wraped in bubble wrap and may be another zip lock bag over that. If a bottle broke I'd hope to salvage most of the...

Nic Base Storage: Freezer vs. Room Temp Experiment

I mix about once a month. Currently mixing with nic that was put in my frost free freezer about 4 1/2 years ago. Color and vape experience are unchanged. If no apparent harm was done in that time what theory explains how things will start deteriorating from this point forward? My nic stays...

    Deeming Regulations have been released!!!!

My favorite theory about the sick vape kids is they thought they were buying an illegal psychoactive drug. Something bad got in the mix. They had to go to hospital but didn't want to admit they might be breaking a law so they dispose of the evidence and play dumb. Regardless the articles on...

    Favourite E liquid Brands

I mix, use just 1% of an all in one flavor. At that low percent I never tire of the flavor so don't need variety. I didn't need variety in smoking days, why change that? Cost about one cent per ml. The rest of life is complicated enough. No reason to get fussy about eliquid.

    Deeming Regulations have been released!!!!

May be it will be determined that, since the kids couldn't get commercial eliquid, they tried to makke their own and didn't understand what ingredients to use. I doubt there is a single instance, anywhere in the world, from the very start, of a physician treating someone with an illness caused...

FDA Juul is going to be in a hard spot to ever get their product approved

Over and over I've said I wish ecigs were around when I was a kid. Freaking out about the kids is short sighted. But if pods were unavialable to kids how many of them would go for the bigger traditional systems. May be size matters?

    Deeming Regulations have been released!!!!

What is the most likely government action that restricts access to products and when does the government say that will happen? In the mean time I'm not interested in anyone's sexual preferences unless it a woman taking an interest in me and the feeling is mutual. After 911 I debated islamists...

A link from the "Nothing About Us. Without Us." thread.

If government would simply .... out, ignore vaping, it would take over. Cigarettes would continue to decline. But as soon as that trend became obvious government would not be inclined to fund anti smoking efforts. Why bother if smoking is declining anyway.

Your Go-To Guide in Government Intrusion

I have no problem with property owners making what ever rules they decide. But there is no justification for laws limiting vaping on private property regardless of whether it is considered a public accomodation. As a practical matter I'm now so good at stealth vaping I can take a puff almost...

FDA Juul is going to be in a hard spot to ever get their product approved

A question that interests me a lot is what Gottlieb's director fee will be. And I though there was some rule about not going to work for an entity you regulated until some years had passed, apparently not, silly me.

    Why so many Mods ??

Smoking a carton a week where I live cost $3,000 a year then all of a sudden I'm not spending that money any more. That situation happens to plenty of smokers and some of them use the money to become vape gear collectors. It didn't happen to me. In the past 4 years I've spent may be $800 on a...

Anyone really suprised that vaping is getting heavily regulated in many places?

I've said a few times, I wish ecigs had been around when I was a kid. In the mean time show me even one report from anytime, anywhere of a doctor treating an illness caused by vaping. The people protesting vaping know their government funding will decrease if everybody stops smoking and the...

    Are you done stocking up?

The mod has a circuit board, easily replaced, that should protect against the safety issues, shorts, reverse battery, low voltage, etc. Spare boards are available and inexpensive. It seems to me to be the least expensive way to increase backup mods. I've settled on one particular rda clone...

    Are you done stocking up?

It's been a few years since I researched stand alone freezers. This was the best prospect at the time. https://www.amazon.com/EdgeStar-CMF151L-1-Medical-Freezer-Lock/dp/B00NO58JLK Most of my nic comes from MSF and also the 250 ml and 1 liter amber glass bottles I use. I noticed the peppery...
