    Sure, that makes sense. In terms of my question, it just seemed that since conversion by definition has overhead, the less of it you're doing (by operating closer to the cell's actual voltage) the more efficient you are.

    I'm glad I didn't jump on this one... This issue would annoy the crap out of me, and most certainly cause me to stop using it. I like my devices to 'just work' - I shouldn't need to employ troubleshooting steps or workarounds every day with them.

    What a bummer! How old were the chargers, if you have any idea? Over time, some components will fail, and perhaps those were both of approximately the same age / usage amount? Also, I suspect it is possible for their to be momentary surges that aren't big enough to trip the protection in...

    That's good to know! I think I was a little beyond the 6 weeks, and the scratches are tiny and I can live with 'em. I was just curious if there were any options... I wonder if those color match automotive touch up kits would work?

    Sure, but this is the internet.. How long would it take for one of those links to be shared? I still don't see a way to guarantee existing customers only get it. Not trying to be an ... here, but programming things like this to actually enforce business rules is what I do all day...

    I agree, I've been vaping it straight since it became available, and love it. I recently accidentally added some cherry to it, and in my opinion that made it even better!
