I just got my original beta that was on the first post back the other day. One of my friends was a tester for them and he finally said he wanted a feeder. He don't have no money so I gave him a damaged one that I puttied and painted and took the beta one back lol. so now I have the original...
Yes it's a boosted 3.7v and it works as you described just like the Darwin. It's meant to fit in any 18650 type mod used with an 18490 IMR (needs to be a high drain IMR since it's boosted)and the kicker to reeplace the 18650. ;)
I remember that one, only made 2 with that wood combo one was a feeder and one dripper ;) ... What she gave it to you? Looks like it could use a reshape and Vv upgrade or at least a feeder upgrade :D
It wont hurt the mod at all and the atty doesn't care which way the current travels either. Now when the variable volt add on comes out, then it would make a difference. electronic circuity cares about direction of current flow, but not a mechanical mod ;)
I like that Thuya so much, I may have to do one for myself too :) Although it give off a terrible smell like pepper spray when cutting it and it's so oily makes it real hard on the sander.
