The company I work for is part of a Volunteer Protection Program with OSHA. So every few months OSHA comes in a audits us. It's so nerve racking to try to work when OSHA people sit and watch your every move, peering over your shoulder waiting for you to do something "wrong".

The way these contacts are built, the spring is riveted to the contact plate. The rivet is the culprit. Somewhere in this design there is too much resistance. By soldering the spring to the contact plate it is allowing the current to bypass the rivet.

Im not sure when I started using this new spring. I think only a few mods in each of the last two to three batches may have these springs in them. Are you having problems hitting 30watts with your mod?

As you can see the messages above, there has been issues with some of my recent mods. A few mods in the most recent batches are using different battery contacts than I normally use. If any of you are experiencing the same problems outlined in the above messages...
