    I'm new

I thought the same about the Provari and I find that it is worth it. It is sturdy, well made, reliable, consistent, and flexible. That being said it is expensive, but worth it IMO. For the time being though a KGO/Riva type batt, which is similiar to ego in form, will get you 3.7 volts and that...

    I'm new

What nic level are you using as it has a lot to do with throat hit (more nic = stronger throat hit). Also higher voltage, more than the tornado can provide you, can help get you the throat hit you are missing.

    New Here! Hello!

As for the battery you have many options. For a step up from blue I would suggest something that is at least 3.7 volts (kgo/riva, megalodon, etc,) then maybe a VV (box mod or tube like provari). JMHO. Good luck

    New Here! Hello!

Congrat's on 25 years smoke free, that is a great accomplishment. I do not know much about Johnson creek and I am sure that someone will chime in for help on the flavor.

    copper and e liquid

I assume that it is a possibility, but in any event I would assume that you would be sealing or clear coating that copper as not to petina? If so the e-liquid would not be in direct contact with the copper but the clearcoat. Maybe look into that compatibility.

2 months into vaping and shopping for a VV mod

My provari mini with the 6ml dct is only like .25" taller than my ego 650mah batt with th 3.5ml dct, drip tips on both of course.

I I agree on the smoke tech, BTW the provari mini with the extension cap for the 18490 is still smaller than the standard provari stock with the same 18490.

I think that's the smoketech. As for the size of the mini, with the 18350 batt it's about .75"-1" smaller than the regular provari.

Not sure, I haven't ventured into that and I don't know if I will. Currently happy with the provari mini maybe when zenesis finally sels their zen atty pro I may pick one up. Best of both?

2 months into vaping and shopping for a VV mod

It has a 3.5 amp limit, so I think just past 5 volts would be the limit at 1.5ohm. I take it to about 4.2-4.4 when using 1.5 ohm dcc's, but that's just me. You can also look into hybrids like zenesis. They are not variable volt, but use a different setup to attain warmth and throat hit.

Have you considered the provari min? Seems to fit what you are looking for. It is about 3.5" long and about .8" diameter very solid feel to them. HTH.

New Guy Needs Help with Options

Drip tips are not necessary with just a cartomizer, but it is highly recommended. It is necessary with a cartomizer tank set up.

New Guy Needs Help with Options

I would go kgo/riva 1100 mah (3.7v) over the ego (3.4v) for the batt's. Vision clearomizer or DCT (dual coil tank) cartomizer at 1.5 or 1.7 ohm x2, I prefer the DCT at 1.5ohm. These will hold more juice than a caromizer or clearomizer on their own. This set-up would be about the size of a...

Juice + Technique Help and some other things

This sounds like it's from experience. lol Seems like you got a lot of good advice already, so I will just touch on the white filler or is it the white silicone cap on a cartomizer you are talking about. If so you should get a drip tip they are fairly inexpensive and it will keep your mouth of...

Rookie vaper with an 808. Should I get a tank or save up for a real set up?

It's different for everyone. I myself wouldn't have bought a provari if I hadn't first tried and ego and got accustomed to myself vaping (I started with an ego, skipped the cig look-a-like). The provari in comparison to an ego or cig look-a-like is fairly large (mainly in girth), as far as...

    CGR18650CH in Provari

do they have them in the 18350 and 18490 size with the button top? If they are superior and cheaper I am definitely interested, also do you have a link to where I can get them?

ended up back on the smokes.. i need help cant seem to stop!!

Got's to have backup's, batt's, atties, cartos, clearos, juice etc. whatever you're using you got to have backup's. Vaping takes a little more planning and forward thinking you need to order supplies in advance (when you are low & before you run out) as there are not many shops you can go to buy...

    Cons of vaping

You can always dilute those high nic juices with some low nic juices that way they do not go to waste.

First Provari, got the Mini, end cap doesn't screw all the on with the 18350 batt?

They are the AW 18350's that I ordered along with the unit from Provape. The spring was kind of angled to one side (maybe it wasn't installed properly) and I was able to fix it a little (it helped) but it still doesn't bottom out. BTW I am liking it already. The crackling I used to only get with...

First Provari, got the Mini, end cap doesn't screw all the on with the 18350 batt?

It's not bottoming out as when there is not a battery installed. Is this normal? There is like a 3/4mm to 1mm gap? Works fine, but from everything I have heard about them and their manufacturing I was expecting a better fit.
