It's not a pcc but I would check out a cheep mechanical mod ($35-$45) and three or four 18650 batteries ($7-$10 each). One 18650 will last me all day so four should get you through with no problem. But take what you already have for a backup.
I started with 12mg three months ago and it was a little to much so now I'm at 8, but I still keep a tank with 12 in it with me for those times at work.
Ok, I think I am done with this one I'm mixing up a 30 ml batch tonight.
All day Earl Grey
60% PG 40% VG
Earl Grey 13%
Honey 8%
Bavarian Cream 5%
Whipped Cream 3%
Chai Tea .6%
Glad you found something that works for you, if you want to try a solid wick this might help http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/ehuman/3727-there-no-problems-aga-t-only-opportunities-hone-your-skills-part-1.html
I use a aga t2 this is what worked for me. I removed the fill screw and the negative screw and used those holes for the u-wick. The old wick hole is used for the fill hole and I plugged it with cutting a old ss wick and flaring one end so it doesn't fall in the tank.
I use a aga t2 and I got tired of the hot spots to, so I put silica in it and it worked great then I gave the ceramic wicks a try. No more hot spots and a clean taste I don't think I will go back to ss. The only draw back is they are fragile...
