    3/4 to an inch in various spots. A lower sand bed lessens the chance of air pockets forming in them. I do %40 water changes every week and just added a Marineland c530 canister filter with four huge media trays and ditched carbon for a product called 'Purigen'. not sure if you've ever tried it...

    Looks like it's just till tomorrow while they catch up on orders from the last closing. From the looks of it, they are getting orders out super fast when taking them. Edit: The web site says closed till tomorrow April 17th, not the 7th. :)
