3rd time was the charm. First 2 poped the very top coil in between the wick and +nut assembly. Now i've got it going. Working on breaking it in. On a side note... Heavens Nectar is AMAZING!!!

I am good with my hands. Im an engineering student and do a lot of small model building. I am not forseeing any problems, but am prepared to troubleshoot. Will check back when I get my coil wrapped and let ya'll know!

Awesome, thank you so much everyone!!! Now, how about 36awg Kanthal??? I know that is thicker than recommended, but will it work? What guage of Kanthal is recommended,? Or what guage with nichrome?

Does is matter what guage the NR wire is? I have some 30awg .999silver wire I was going to use but not sure if it will work. Any ideas?

Where does everyone get their mesh? I am having a hard time finding any and have an Orion on its way to me soon...just want to be prepared to roll some freshies when need be. Thanks in advance for any advice!!! Cant wait to get this badboy in my hands
