If you still taste burnt juice take it off and put it on a either a truly boosted VV device or a 3.7v device like a eGo twist or a Bolt....see if you get the same outcome. I vape a 2.8-3.0Ω Fusion carto all day at 3 volts and it still rocks...

    Just the 1.5mm button is the ONLY difference between the 2. I use 1 flat and 1 button in the V/Zmax. The button is the only added length. The battery is the exact same from 1 to the next, just one has a flat positive plate, the other has a buttton. That's it.

    Basically if you have your VMAX set at 3v your pretty much vaping at 3.5ish volts. The VMAX runs about .5 volts higher than your set voltage. Honestly I find myself vaping at 3.-3.4v more and more with the Fusions and the Penelope. Fusions at 2.8Ω, and the Penelope at 1.8 (3 coils) or 2.0-2.2Ω...
