Smoktech ZMax Owners - Pics., Tips, Tricks and Quirks

Keep your eye on the classies here...I've seen well over 8-10 Pennys for sell for $105-$130. That should be the going rate if the seller is being fair and honest. And half of those came with wick/coil/ and a Kir Fanis clear tank. Don't pay more than that, just try to be patient , trust me it...

Smoktech Vmax Owners - tips, tricks and quirks

My bad Random.....When I was reading it this morning I could've swore it read Vmax. I'm gonna say it was my early blurry foggy contacts. But really it was probably me just mis-reading it. My apologies buddy. Man how did I read that wrong.

Smoktech ZMax Owners - Pics., Tips, Tricks and Quirks

1st off they all take some time to get whether it be a pre-order on ecf and wait 3-6 months for it or wait for people to get theirs from the same type situation then post it up on the classies after finding out it's not for them. I believe the SG-V3 mini has the ability of dual wicks/U-wick...

Smoktech Vmax Owners - tips, tricks and quirks

Actually Random he couldn't do that. The VMAX can only operate on a 'over' 6.2-6.4 volt battery/batteries. If you were to put a single 3.7v battery in it the unit would merely flash 'Lo' or reset. The chipset would have to be completely redesigned and reworked taking out the step down regulator...

Well I'll guess I'll say it again then....Man I LOVE MY PENELOPE !!!!! Curious Scott.....how often do you rebuild your coil/wick ? Smoktech ZMax Owners - Pics., Tips, Tricks and Quirks

Dirk....your absolutely right. The 1st wave of Zmax's will only be Chrome as far as I've know and have been told. SS will be very soon after as Smoktech now knows the SS is in just as high demand if not higher due to the amount of quality that goes into the SS naturally because of the raw...

Smoktech ZMax Owners - Pics., Tips, Tricks and Quirks

I always pay more attention to the Vrms, that's where it kinda counts. And according to that screenshot it's showing 3.59v. That's basically the same as the VMAX's Vrms. The VMAX even with the V2 unit works at about .5 -.6 volts higher than than what it's set at, which corresponds to feel of the...

'YJ' Chrome V2 fix for the 'Lo' flashing

This thread is to help or assist anyone having a issue with their Young June Chrome V2. Primarily the 'Lo' flashing light in the display after you screw your atty on. It acts fine with no atty attached showing 9.9A when pushing the power button. As soon as you put a atty on it and hit the...

Smoktech Vmax Owners - tips, tricks and quirks

The SS VMAX and ZMAX are Stainless Steel throughout, not brass ....NOT SS coated or colored. If their is even a way to do that with SS. It either is or it isn't. Atleast both of mine are anyway.

Smoktech Vmax Owners - tips, tricks and quirks

"IF" it does this all the time on every 1.5Ω then it has a defective chip on the actual board. This wouldn't be Smoktech's fault but the actual maker of the single chip that has the issue. I would love to be able to tell you exactly what it is but without the board being in front of me and...

Smoktech Vmax Owners - tips, tricks and quirks

The vario is using the same basis and basic chipset as the VMAX,just with a 18650. The Zmax is a whole different device than the VMAX.....trust me, it really is.

Smoktech ZMax Owners - Pics., Tips, Tricks and Quirks

That's basically exactly what it's doing. If you use the 18650 setup it automatically uses the boost circuit. Use the stacked setup it switches to the step down reg. Fuzzi said it perfect. It really is the best of both worlds. And I really can't see any power-loss or gain from 1 setup to the...

Smoktech Vmax Owners - tips, tricks and quirks

Fuzzi your absolutely right in your analogy brotha. Or so far as I can tell by personal experience. Smoktech denies ANY and all issues that may be made by using a RA on the VMAX. ......BUT !!!! I can tell you 1st hand and now I think a few others can to that theirs something about a RA that the...

Smoktech Vmax Owners - tips, tricks and quirks

Love it Turtle.....that's classic. But in response ......I really have no idea but would love to see it in person...sounds very intriguing to say the least. Skip I would maybe guess your right about the technicality of the Smoktech flat/button top...but in regards to keeping it "simple"...
