    The original eneloops in aaa and aa size before advancement (which have increased capacity by ~30% afaik) were 800 mah and 2000 mah. If they can do that with an eneloops they can do it with unprotected cell for vaping. But they haven't. The demand isn't there so nobody bothers.

    The point is if mtl was the driving force we'd see smaller high capacity batteries. Not a push for more capacity in larger cells. We'd be getting cigalike sizes that were more than 150mah. Or a juul with all day battery life.

    At that power level can't you get a couple days out of a lg hg2 battery? I vape slightly higher than you and am always surprised how much time I get from the hg2 battery and also from the mega volt. The mega volt really is a shocker oven the size. Have you tried any 3000mah. Batteries yet...

    Definitely sounds like a poor device for tc. Sorry about that. I use .0089 for 316L on tcr devices. I wonder if the alien would fare better with nife 48/52 given the tcr is .0405. That wire is great. I wish it was more available. I've been buying from Germany and need to find a good source...

    I vape at 15-20 all the time. No issues. But the point I was trying to make (poorly) is that the temp control should force lower power after the initial fire click. To me it seems more likely the tc is just way off. I have a few devices I have to vape at 340-60 despite my many others I vape...
