So I got this lovely looking clearo a few days ago in the mail from fasttech but have been unable to connect it with my vamo v7 with an adjustable centrepin
Every time I screw it on both tight and loose it does not make connection and my vamo reads "without atomiser".
A YouTube video...
What are these big boy mods you speak of :o
And yeah thanks a bunch man!! No longer getting the "without atomiser" message when I screw it down tight so I think it's almost safe to say you've fixed my problem :D Now only time will tell if it's COMPLETELY safe to say so.
Gosh I love this...
The newer vamos no longer have that problem! My v7 has an insulator where the centrepin rises from but it doesn't make contact with it and also the centrepin is adjustable via flathead ^_^ in either case I bought a pack of o-rings when this was being shipped to me but I was delightfully...
Oh and Collintrouble, I tested that by connecting my EMOW tank last night but that uses the ego threads so I'm not sure if that will work for troubleshooting this haha. I also have a Vivi nova that uses the ego threads but I need to file down the damn thing because it doesn't allow the coil to...
Right after posting this I took out the adaptor and orchid, made the contact pin on the vamo a bit higher and screwed them both back in and voilà, it's reading a stable .5ohms again.
However I know this will only be temporary and soon the readings will start flying around again. Begging for...
I'm having problems with my vamo and its being extremely temperamental in regards to its connection with my orchid RBA.
Before I continue, I will mention that I am using a 510/ego adaptor in between the connection so I don't feel that the problem is with my vamos flathead adjustable centrepin...
Hey guys, just looking for a bit of help with my brand new, just out of the box Vamo V7. Any input would be appreciated.
The adjustable centre pin on this appears to be a bit loose and whenever I try and attach my Vivi Nova 3.5ml tank it seems to twist the pole back down with it and thus not...
So I took it to the electronics repair shop and they couldn't find any fault within the charger and are blaming the fault on the battery. I already have a new charger on the way here now but in case that doesn't work I was wondering....
What kind of battery is usually used in these starter...
Okay I'll take it to the repair shop tomorrow and see what (and if) they can do for me.
And WillyZee - I've had a few post on this thread saying they think it's the charger, who's word am I to believe?! And in either case - what's the tell-tale sign?
I guess I'm also a bit reluctant to want to...
Oh and no I was not aware of this at all twgbonehead. Thanks for bringing that info around my way though :D Now I'm actually kinda keen to jump onto mods..
Okay so just got back from trying to pry up the centre pin and attempted to give it a charge, but once again I'm getting 2 blinks before the light becomes a solid green, indicating that it is fully charged. :glare: (The pin didn't seem to move upward at all while attempting to do this.)...
Mine does charge though, but only for 2 seconds (literally) :(
If indeed a new battery is required then I might go for a mech mod as my next vaping tool. But I will be truly sad to leave behind the sturdy, metal cased clearomizer that Kangertech provides with their e-cigs... (The EMOW and EVOD...
Oh wow such fast responses lol. I was not expecting this. Thank you all!!!
Robino1: Yes, I've made sure the contacts on both the charger AND the battery are clean. However there is a bit of gunk that I just can't get in the crevice of the ego style connecter on the battery side but this has...
Firstly, hello to the lovely e-cigarette-forum, how's everybody doing today? (Better than me I hope.)
I've joined up to ask; WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY ECIG?!
My problem started yesterday and has for the meantime put a packet of analogues in my pocket, which as you have probably worked out from my...
