    [comfort!] My earliest batteries last from 9months to over a year. Current batteries are a bit less than 3mo before the battery won't hold a charge. I've been replacing their cells with batteries that have had electro-mechanical problems.

    From what I've seen as far as actual numbers go - they'd be amenable to it too. At least so far. Now, if you want to argue for Chernobyl, which actually had a nuclear event instead of a conventional event involving a reactor - you'd have a solid argument.

    Have you tried toothpaste on the lenses? That's what we use in scuba diving to prevent fogging. A pea-sized drop of non-gel toothpaste, then rub for a couple minutes, then rinse. Repeat a few times. I'm assuming they're glass and not plastic - plastic will scratch. Try replacing the nose pads...
