Thanks emus but I think I'm try and go bigger. The converter puts out up to 2.4a, and you can actually 3 or 4 free samples. Even the shipping. Just register with TI. Plug-in Power Modules - Non-Isolated POL - PTN04050C - TI.com.
I will probably try a 510 but I've gotten spoiled by the flavor...
You might be right about 401 atty's sucking ... at 5 volts. But I had to know, so I yanked out the booster, switched the battery connections, and wired in the 5v regulator instead. It works awesome. TONS of vapor, and perfect throat hit. Still has all that great flavor that 401's are known for...
Here's one for you electronics guru's. I don't know what the hell is happening here.
I got some of the 5v regulators, and some of the 4050 boost converters from Texas Instruments. Haven't used the regulators yet, but built a decent looking 5v box using one of the 4050's and the dam thing keeps...
Simply put, according to the post by the pharmacist, all USP grade Glycerin is chemically equal. Doesn't matter who made it. If it says USP, they must adhere to a very strict, very specific set of guidelines.
UPS is a steaming dung heap. It's rare to see so many employees who just don't give a crap. Absolutely horrible customer service, compounded with monumental incompetence.
About 7-8 years ago, I took a day off from work to wait for a computer monitor I had ordered online. It was supposed to be...
Doctor: I'm very sorry, there's no easy way to put this, but you're going to die.
Patient: Oh my god that's, horrible. How long do I have?
Doctor: Ten.
Patient: Ten??? Ten What? Days? Weeks? Months?
Doctor: 9...8...7.........................
A lady walked into a Lexus dealership to browse, and spotted the most
beautiful, perfect "loaded" Lexus - and walked over to inspect it closer.
As she bent forward to feel the fine leather upholstery, an unexpected
little burst of flatulence escaped her.
Very embarrassed, she anxiously...
Those ratings are what I was referring to. Only the voltage cutoffs actually shut down the battery, not the current rating, if that's what you were worried about. The Maximum discharge current, in my understanding is basically so you don't use a battery that is completely out the ballpark as far...
Not sure what limits you're referring to, but there are definitely limits set waith any protected Li Ion battery. Limits to prevent over charging, and also to prevent over discharging. Are you are talking about some other limits?
Youfill, where did you get that momentary switch? I've been trying to find a small low profile switch that can handle the current, but is also small enough to fit into an AAA battery box. The one in that pic looks like what I've been trying to find.
Boon you also had a pretty small switch in...
I recently got the ones in the last link you put up, from The custom saber shop. They work great and seem to last forever in a nicostick. You can buy from custom saber shop with no worries, they have great service, fast shipping, and great prices. If you don't have a charger they sell this one...
A very successful lawyer parked his brand new Porsche Carrera GT in front of the office, ready to show it off to his colleagues. As he got out, a truck came along too close to the curb and completely tore off the driver's door.
Fortunately, a cop in a police car was close enough to see the...
They are just as sensitive as the auto batteries. Probably not to good for use in a car. Although if the windows are up and the radio isn't blasting, it's fine. I am also pretty sure the 401 pt does run at 5v.
I actually pulled the battery connector from my 401 pass thru, and made a nicostick...
