Mechanical reos will be seeing some upgrades
Two kits are working great on two Grands. 0.90 ohms on one, 1.3 ohms on the other. I didn't remove annodizing or paint before installing the new springs. Has anyone done any testing to determine if doing so makes a significant difference? I'm vaping happy, but I'm curious. -

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll do some more involved troubleshooting and figure it out. Right now, I'm disassembling two Grands and getting them cleaned up in preparation for the upgraded contacts which should arrive tomorrow. They gotta be freshly showered before they put on brand new... -

Question for my Woodvil peeps: My 18650 Woodvil works beautifully with an AW 1600mAh 18650. It does not work at all with a Sony VTC5. All of the contacts appear to be clean and the flat top Sony battery appears to be making good contact at the positive and negative. Why wouldn't a flat top... -

And before this gets out of hand... DO NOT POLISH, FILE, OR USE CORROSIVE/ABRASIVE CLEANERS ON YOUR CONTACTS. I'm just picking on Rob. He has commented more than once that he hates polishing metal Reo bodies, and the thought of him polishing tiny little strips of metal and battery springs... -

I have 2 kits on the way, but I'm going to return them to Rob when they get here. I'll put a note in the box asking him to polish the contacts and return them to me. Rob loves to polish. I should have thought to ask when I made my order. :evil:
