It's been said by others already, but sub-1.5 ohm coils in RBA's vape very well on a mechanical mod with an IMR 18650 battery. If you try a RBA on your Grand, don't be afraid to use 28 or 30 gauge wire and build a coil with 4 or 5 wraps. I twisted some 32 gauge wire and tried it. Very nice! -

Vamo is Heating UP !!!
If a suitable replacement spring can't be found locally, you could easily add some wire to your current spring. Not pretty, but it solves the issue of poor conductivity with the original "big spring". -

The abundance of caution is due mainly to some instances of folks having their PV blow up in their face when stacking CR123 batteries in unregulated tube mods. You're definitely experienced enough with lithium batteries and chargers to safely stack 18350's if you choose to do so. -

Vapor Skinz Questions
The wraps function similarly to the screen protector films used on cell phones. They stick very well, but don't leave behind any adhesive when you remove them. A wrap wouldn't tear and rip unless you really tugged hard while removing it. It would probably wrinkle and stretch out of shape... -
