Sounds like the tank was leaking, XMit. Depending on the amount of liquid that got down in there, you might have to disassemble the top cap. It's not really that hard if you're careful. Follow this thread on removing the top cap... -
A couple of VVPV questions.
Bad news Vern. I had the same problem but was able to remove the screws with a tiny jeweler's flat head screwdriver and just had some replacement screws sent out to me. You might be able to get them out like that, the wait time on the RMA hurts. -
Question about tubing material/plastic end caps and other q's.
The tubing is Tygon. Description: "R-3603 Laboratory Tubing handles virtually all inorganic chemicals, it is non-oxidizing and non-contaminating and can be sterilized". -

A couple of VVPV questions.
My connection, while not loose, doesn't sit all the way in compared to other rechargable devices I own. If I press down on it at the connection, it does blank out. I haven't tried to use the VVpV as a passthru, so I'm not sure how that would work out. The device has to to be on to charge it... -
THe art of dripping

I think you'll just have to hook the end of the spring under the hex nut and tighten down the phillips head screw, MonsterKitty. Don't forget to line up that little pin with the hole in the delrin threaded part. Probably easier to hold that nut with some needle-nose pliers, if ya have some... -
