Heat capacity is the great equalizer you're looking for. Heat capacity is the amount of energy it takes to heat an object one degree Celsius. The greater the object (coil) mass, the more energy (Watts, Joules) it takes to heat it.
The voltage and Watts you need are all dependent on it and it's...
I'd rate the battery life a C. I don't know what the chip specifications are, but its efficiency can't be much more than 90%. I have single cell Eleafs with TC dialed in to near perfection and side-by-side the VV chip is not their equal. It's just my impression, but the VV chip doesn't sleep as...
pffft...
As soon as a system enters the Gulf of Mexico, everyone from Brownsville to Key West is a tropical meteorologist. Kinda like y'all when a Nor'easter is approaching. And, Hawai'ians when a volcano starts rumbling.
What exactly is the problem people are having in TC mode(s)?
Had my 80W now for a couple of weeks and I've found the TC performance to be very good. I did have to adjust the TCR for my SS316L build. I thought the 1100 default value was too high. A value between 0980 and 1060 is about right...
There are some very classy, smaller external battery box mods avAILABLE NOW. @Baditude's Jac is one. The Eleaf Pico 75 is another--its body is curved and has a really comfortable feel to it.
I prefer mod styles and designs that aren't garish or have color combos that look like an angry fruit...
Very much interested.
My RAM squonk has issues with the switch contact getting very dirty without cleaning every bottle fill or battery change. And there's no easy way (for one-handed me) to disassemble it. So I could possibly have a Eureka moment looking at the Dot fix.
Factory drop in coils are consumables. They have a finite life and what you describe is how it lets you know it's time for a fresh one.
You can extend their lives by cleaning them before they get to tasting nasty. I used to give mine a 30-minute boil. It gave them another few mils of life but...
Mornin, y'all.
Get to watch Thing #4 graduate today from 8th grade at the Catholic school her three sisters graduated.
We've had at least one little darling at that school since 1998. Sometimes two. And once had two in Catholic high school with two at St. Prissy.
LOL... ask the ECF community what time it is and we commence with instructions on how to build a clock.
And sooner or later, the discussion turns to what the best kind of clock the newbie needs to build.
:D
