@NolaMel ... What inside diameter is your coil? The Ammit deck is designed for 3mm and you can fit a fatter one if you're careful. You need that size to get the right wick mass in there. If you're trying with a 2.5mm or thinner coil, it will leak no matter how you trim or arrange your wick. You...

This is why I pretend to be interested in baseball when it's still 100+ days until football season.

Honestly I am middle age disabled dude with no aquaintces that vape.

@RigBick, Google Maps shows a bunch of vape shops in your area. I kinda get what you're talking about--most of the people behind the counters at my local shops are my children's age. I'm always a "sir" to them and they're usually polite. But most of'em don't know that I've been vaping since...

Ha! I just went Van Helsing on an Android app that was sucking my battery dry in a matter of a few hours, even with the screen off. I couldn't figure it out. So I installed Accubattery and let it run, and it found the vampire. Outlook. Microsoft product. Go figure. So I go to uninstall it...

    Pulse 80w

I've been using mine for a week now. I like it a lot except for battery life with an 18650 and I'm hesitant to buy 20700's just because I have a fleet of 18mm cells. I like the way it performs in power and bypass out of the box and the menu is not hard to navigate. The TCR for each of the TC...

Likes: Great flavor and vape texture Easy build Looks great Hard to over squonk on a BF mod Dislikes: O-ring tolerance stinks and airflow quantity is just set and forget Difficult to disassemble Coil outside diameter limited by the airflow tubes I have two--both on single 18650 devices...

I don't object to bottom fill tanks if their performance is worth it. I have three Goblin V2's and two Subtank Minis (left). I also have a few Tron-T tanks. The Trons are the only ones I no longer use because they're good, but not good enough. A lot of folks with top filling tanks remove them...

I think you did misunderstand, but that's ok. Washing out the tank with soapy water is fine. I do it, too. Getting soap in the coil head is a bad idea. Unless you rinse it 2,845 times. ;)

Thought about. Prayed about it. Talked about it. I'm retiring. If 40 years was long enough for the Israelites to wander in the desert, it's long enough for one man to work. Now all I have to do is keep the boredom at bay.

What is it like to vape at 230 watts?

I know... that was November 2015. That was when sub-Ohm tanks like the Subtank Mini and Atlantis were just getting established, as were devices with 40+ Watt capability. IIRC, 2016 was the peak year for vaping growth if the survey data are accurate. That was also the period in which so many...

What is it like to vape at 230 watts?

I remember that poll. I would love to see how preferences have changed in the last 2-3 years. My bet is that with the rapid increase in vaping popularity in 2015 and 2016 and the increase in higher power technology the average has increased. I surmise that the vast majority are still under 80...

What is it like to vape at 230 watts?

I know. That's why I do the rebuildable thing now. But I'm not about to build to that kind of capability.

What is it like to vape at 230 watts?

I had to try the cloudz bro cloudz thing, just because the manufacturer of my dual cell mod said it could do 200+ Watts. Well, it can, but the batteries we have can't do that and remain useful for very long afterwards. I used a Geekvape Illusion tank on a Pico Dual and cranked it up as high as...

Pulse 80w or Wismec Luxotic bf

This is incorrect. @Zaybeee was asking about building low sub-Ohm coils and mechanical (unregulated) devices. In a mechanical mod, the voltage supplied is what the battery has at its present charge state. A fully charged Li-ion battery supplies 4.2v. If we have a 0.50 Ohm coil, Ohm's Law tells...

No soap! Not unless you want to rinse the coil about 2,845 times or something. Try a 30 minute boil in plain tap water, then rinse and let it air dry, or place it in front of a fan to let it dry overnight. Make sure you prime your coil before using it the first time or after cleaning. Coil...
